Cozy Vacation House

Your cozy getaway awaits you in Scotts Head at this lovely house. With two soothing bedrooms featuring one queen bed, one full bed, a nice bathroom with hot water shower, and convenient amenities like a washing machine, Wi-Fi, AC, and an iron, this property is perfect for guests looking for a relaxing retreat. Our place is equipped for both long or short stays to make your holiday one to remember. Situated in the southern tip of Dominica, perfect beach for swimming, snorkeling etc. Five minutes to Soufriere Sulphur Springs and Champagne beach. Whale watching and tuna fishing can be arranged.

We loved our stay here! The view from the house is incredible, large stove and kitchen for cooking and easy access to amazing snorkeling at Scott’s Head. The local community is great and the restaurant Chez Wen is delicious!

Beautiful apartment with a stunning view of Cachacrou and Scotts Head Bay. Great location essentially perched above Chez Wen on the village's hill. Comfortable and well provisioned kitchen. Great communication from the host. Would stay again.

Ideal spot in Scottshead

This is a great liitle house in the heart of Scottshead, within walking distance to everything including snorkeling. Great views of the bay.The people are so friendly and welcoming in Scottshead. The house is well equipped and we were thankful for the a/c at night. The wash machine was a nice bonus a week into our trip.

Very nice place to stay

Located on a west-facing hill overlooking Scott's Head, this rental is nestled in a neighbood that lets you come into contact with friendly nearby residents. The owner and manager are attentive and communicate well. Snorkeling, fishing, hiking and boat tours are easily accessible, although cooking and other supplies should be purchased in Roseau before making the drive down. The clothes washer and air conditioning in the bedrooms work well.

Lovely stay in Scott's head

We enjoyed our three nights in Scott's head, using this property as our home base for our exploration of the southern top of the island. Microwave, fridge/freezer, gas stove and oven. The hot water in the shower worked great, which we learned is not always the case on the island. Tv, great Internet. Curtains are window sheets so be sure to bring an eye mask and ear plugs. Bedroom a/c worked great in both bedrooms. Be sure to get any and all necessities in Roseau before making your way south because shopping in the area is extremely limited. The water and power were intermittent during the daytime which wasn't a bother as we were gone exploring most of the time - and out of the owner's control. We have stayed in eco stays with a similar experience. There are multiple water faucets along the road on the shoreline that are drinking water for bottle refills if needed. We sat on the porch/balcony and enjoyed watching birds fly by. We love to snorkel and Scott's head was the best we experienced during our trip. Walk all the way down to the small sandy beach and get in. Jerry helped us get checked in and answered any immediate questions we had. We felt safe. The people are friendly. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. If we come back to Dominica we will rebook here in Scott's head.
