“Everything from arrival to check out was brilliant, the staff are amazing, the spa was so relaxing as were the treatments, room was gorgeous and spotlessly clean and hot tub on the balcony was awesome, bar areas and service were fantastic and visit to Mizumi restaurant is recommended, location is fabulous - overall we had a great stay and will be visiting again ”

“Beautiful stay at The Belsfield. Arrived to a lovely welcoming from Jordan and Natashja who gave checked us in. Upgraded us to a room with a beautiful lake view and 4 poster bed was amazing to sleep in. Will come again ”

“Lovely stay. Great room, very nice breakfast and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The christmas decorations made the whole stay feel very festive. The kids loved everything about it. The spa swimming pool was a little on the cold side but ok. ”

“We had a great couple of days.
The room was very spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.
We were well looked after and would definitely stay here again the next time we visit the Lake District.

“Very clean and smart room. Public areas are all very well kept and very nicely decorated with plenty of character. There is a very smart homely atmosphere. All the staff have been very friendly and professional. There was a maintenance problem, which couldn’t be resolved, but a suitable option was offered immediately - which we were happy with.
Evening meal was very nice - a little pricey, but to be expected at a hotel in the Lake District. The gentleman running the bar (from Glasgow) was...
