Great Pool

Overall this property worked well for us. Comfortable beds ( although new linens for master would be good), well stocked kitchen, outdoor seating all good. House could use a deep clean.Toilet paper, kitchen, laundry detergent and trash bags were appreciated.

Very nice home in a great location

I stayed for a week with 4 teens aged 14-16. I grew up in this neighborhood so I was excited to stay somewhere so close to my old house. This home is in a quiet neighborhood close to Anna Maria and the beaches. It’s also just 30 minutes from University Town Center in Sarasota. The mall is there along with any other shop you could ever want. We also have family in Palmetto and Tampa so it was very convenient to visit everyone. The house itself isn’t super fancy but it is nice and had everything we needed and plenty of room. It’s clean and has plenty of towels and beach towels as well as kitchen items. I didn’t see a single bug inside either! The pool was a huge plus especially since there was some red tide when we were there. We got to go to the beach some too but it was just so stinkin’ hot and humid that we didn’t feel like packing around all of our beach equipment every day. There is a starter set of basic necessities but we were glad we brought extra kitchen trash bags, an extra roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, extra dishwasher tabs and an extra roll of paper towels. We also brought laundry detergent and dryer sheets, dish detergent and liquid hand soap. There were pool toys but I would recommend bringing your own goggles/masks/snorkels. Overall, I would highly recommend this place and will definitely check for its availability if we need a place to stay next time.

Enjoyable stay

Landlords were very tentative and helpful. All appliances work as they should. All rooms were clean at arrival pool was clean. Grill wirk perfect as did stove and oven. Fridge kept all food cool and fresh. Bed very comfortable. Easy access to the house. From i 75. 6 miles from beach. Over all we loved this house. We will book it again in future trips.

We Didn’t want to leave!

We love this property! Close to the beach yet the privacy and relaxation at the end of the day. The patio was so relaxing. The pool was heated which was nice. The owners were very friendly and helpful during our stay. We will definitely book again!

Nice stay

Property was as advertised. Very clean and in a good central location for our family. Less than 15 minutes to the beach. There was plenty of room for our party of 5. The pool was nice. The only slight drawback was a few small things like napkins, paper towels, tissues, etc. were not provided. The home was in a quiet residential area, but also walking distance to a grocery store, so a quick trip solved those issues.

A great spot, but not very welcoming "rules"

The residence we stayed at prior to this felt a lot more welcoming, honestly. At this place, after you book, you're confronted with a "welcome packet", (which doesn't feel very welcoming; It feels like you're being reminded by your mom to clean up your mess with a checklist of chores that *must* be completed regarding the house and also mentions to "treat it like you would a friend's house." ) At first, this was fine with me. Everyone wants their house taken care of. My boyfriend actually said, " wait, so are * we * the cleaning crew, then?" And I told him, "They just want to maintain their house, it's honestly not a big deal." Then, we get inside. And the signs begin. Literally in every room, there's a sign that says, " don't do this, make sure you do that. " My boyfriend said, " Oh, I thought this was a *vacation* house. " Also, don't bring your pets. It's not very clear on their listing that they aren't allowed, but my boyfriend brought his, and after we left, I felt scolded by the owner, and was informed I will be charged a cleaning fee because they had to do a "special cleaning." I said I will gladly oblige and felt the need to apologize, which I did, which is weird because you shouldn’t feel like you have to apologize for being a *PAYING* guest. I didn't sleep well the last night of the stay because I was going through the list of rules double-checking if we missed any, and spent most of the morning on the day of leaving sweating to make sure those were met up to par, only to be told it wasn't. LOL!!! Oh well. Anyway, they seem like decent and well-meaning owners, but having stayed at a way more laid back environment (which was even cleaner than this place - this place was clean, but the place prior to this was even cleaner despite not having a daunting list of rules), my overall experience was less than five stars, and I hate giving anyone less than five stars on here because I know so many pour their heart and souls into their homes they rent out. We were told "thank you for coming" at the previous house on our departure. I was informed I would be charged more money at this one and I still have that same " I'm not welcome vibe; how dare I screw up house-feeling " as I did when we entered. There's really no comparison to my real five-star experience at the other one not only as a CUSTOMER, but as a GUEST. Great location, though!

Beautiful and fun

This property was nicely maintained, and had all the things we needed to make this place feel like home. There were plenty of towels, beach towels, utensils, cups, plates, pots and pans. There were 2 coffee makers (one single cup and one multi cup maker). It was nicely decorated and the beds were comfy. The kids loved the pool!

Great house for a vacation!

We were very happy with the house. It fit our family of 6 very well. The patio and pool were lovely. It has some lawn chairs and a beach chair to use, along with beach toys. We loved Anna Maria Island and the close proximity!

Beautiful Home!

Three words - comfortable, quiet & relaxing

We hesitated at first to take this rental because there had been no reviews to date. Well we are so happy to have not let that get in our way ! The home was immaculate and very comfortable. It was close to many grocery stores and restaurants, although we only ate out once at The Riverhouse Reef and Grill 5 minutes away and delicious! It’s on the river and we had a beautiful sunset with dinner too ! Anna Maria Island is a short drive from the house and we spent time at Holmes Beach and Anna Maria both very enjoyable, Anna Maria has a great little “down town “ to stroll around. Back to the house, there was nothing missing it was fully stocked with everything from dishes and glassware to beach chairs and beach umbrella and pool floats. All the appliances were brand new and the house has just been totally remodeled. Sitting on the lanai with our morning coffee was a delight watching the birds and squirrels. The neighborhood is very quiet as well. Tomas came the day we arrived to welcome us and his wife Darina kept in touch as well. We were very happy with our stay and we definitely will be back, we are already planning a return visit!

Excellent property

Everything about this property is as advertised. We have stayed at 5 different VRBO properties in the Bradenton/ Anna Maria Island area. Without question this property was the best. Everything is new. The home was spotless. Thomas, the owner and manager, met us upon our arrival, and offered his assistance for anything we might need during our stay. While we did not need introduction to the area he has a nicely organized folder identifying everything the area has to offer. Throughout our stay we continued to be impressed with the amenities included. The living room and all 3 bedrooms had flat screen tv’s. The large pool was solar heated and meticulously maintained. The kitchen has all new appliances and is well stocked with cooking essentials. Beach chairs and toys are also supplied. The location just south of Manatee road offers easy access to grocery shopping. If it’s not booked we will be back. Thank you Thomas.
