“We came during winter and had the place all to ourselves. The hotel facilities were closed and we had to check in and have breakfast at the hotel across the road. However it was totally worth it. The room was beautifully decorated with views from every window. Heating was fantastic, firm mattress, brand new renovated bathroom, and the best cookies. The town is across a small bridge and was so picturesque. ”

Kyle at reception was beyond helpful, writing a lengthy list of attractions, ensuring we had a suitable room and switched us to their sister hotel The Royal Britannia. John was also amazing sharing some local favourites and chatting away each time we crossed paths. Our room and ensuite was huge and beautiful, with a large bay window and seating overlooking the harbour. The restaurant downstairs had amazing barkeeps that smiled and chatted...
