“I was a little disappointed with my stay at Southcamp, especially as the many positive reviews were what initially drew me in. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance weren't up to standard expectations. There was sand throughout the shower from a previous guest, some cutlery still had dried food on it, and the curtain was partially off its rail despite requesting it be fixed twice. The bath towels were also quite worn, with some thin, bare patches. For the price I paid, I didn’t feel the...

“It was truly serenity living in the woods, hotel staff at reception were nice and friendly. Breakfast spread were decent but note it’s cabinet stuff instead of hot meals. Only downside were housekeeping, our rooms were not vacuumed throughout all nights. Other than the jacuzzi tub and comfortable bed, the hotel could use some refurbishment to freshen up the whole experience. One downside will be the lack of kitchen sink where you will need to do all refilling and washing with the small toilet...

“Staff were lovely. Room was very noisy with furniture being moved in the room above us. First, occupants scraping chairs on the floor (dining table I presume) then cleaners in the morning moving furniture / beds to clean. No room service to apartments that you pay a hefty rate for. You have to go and pick up your meals yourselves. Wouldn't stay again for the price. Not value for money despite the reputation. ”

“The room was a bit dated and likely due for a make-over, but everything was well-maintained and spotless. Everything you needed was available. Staff was great - Fiona is a gem. I would be very happy to visit again.”

“Appartamentino completissimo, se avessimo deciso di rimanere in stanza a rilassarci non sarebbe mancato nulla. La struttura è in posizione eccellente per visitare tutta la zona di Bunbury e di Margaret River, fino a capo Leeuwin. La notte l'area è silenziosissima e dalla spiaggia la vista del cielo è da brividi.”

“Family friendly resort. One bed chalet was perfect for our needs. The park is very well ran with friendly staff. There was a group of 5 families all placed next to each other. We used the bbq and kids loved the large bouncy cushion and pool”

“The outside and common area of the property was generally well looked after and the Nespresso pod in the dining area was appreciated. The facilities to cook and prep food were great as was the use of the laundry. Fresh towels were provided everyday. Honestly, even though it was generally a lovely stay, the bedroom/ensuite/ kitchenette was a little bit tired. Also, I could hear the guy snoring very clearly in the room next door. Overall, my travelling buddies enjoyed the stay. Thanks ”

“The location is great but there is very few amenities. The pool is below average, stay on the beach. No restaurant or breakfast bar, you can't really call it a resort.”

“Was not alot to offer and it was very open on balancy where spa is so couldnt go naked but very comfy bed and friendly receptionist. Spa was very high priced ”

“Clean room but ancient bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cafe by the beach was excellent and well used by everyone. Pub food in resort was nice. Great place to just hang out as well. A bit of a drive into Margaret River but ok if you have a car. ”
