“Comfortable house, not huge, but nicely decorated. Host was very quick to respond when I had trouble with door code. The only con for us was lack of handrails on steps to exterior doors (front and back). Otherwise a great place to stay.”

We especially loved how quiet it was while still being so close to the city and amenities. Incredibly easy check-out experience too so we're always thankful for that. “First and foremost the inlet is awesome for the family...we spent the week playing in the giant puddles ..it was the perfect intro to the ocean! At high tide we grilled and enjoyed the backyard! Super friendly neighborhood.. multiple public beaches in walking distance..house has everything you need and nothing you don't to enjoy a quick family get away!”

“Our family of 4 stayed comfortably. Towels and sheets were well stocked. We loved walking across to the beach. Our 10 year old could take our 5 year old. We biked on street and sidewalks to downtown Milford, public library, playground. We loved Pennys used books. It was such a relaxing trip and we will be back to stay at Susana's lovely place.”

“We have stayed in this little cottage several times now. Convenient location for visiting downtown New Haven. Bed is comfortable - kitchen small but it has what you need. Nice walking neighborhood if you have dogs. We will be back.”

“This house is close to the ocean — as in at high tide water is almost to the porch — so very convenient and not a lot of walking needed. Also near to some great restaurants although not walking distance. Owner was friendly and helpful. Only downside is that neighbors are very close (but there is a good privacy fence for the porch) and there are two flights of narrow stairs to get to apartment. We had a relaxing and restorative friends weekend.”

This property had everything from a super clean, cozy studio with fridge and counters filled with surprising treats, incredible hot tub with lights in the trees, pool to cool off and little private beach to launch a paddlleboard and kayak, or hang out at night with a burn pit. If you are just a beach person and want toes in the sand and to swim in the ocean, this area is not for you....
