Scams, Rude Staff, And Mold!
Online the photos looked great, showed large queen bed suite with a couch and jetted tub. I do not know where the rooms shown in the photos are, but they are not what you will get. There was white mold all over corner of room. The room we received was not at all the room we paid for. I tried nicely approaching the counter about the issue, and the woman who was working was very condescending. She implied we were stupid for thinking we could get a queen hotel suite and jetted tub for the price, despite the fact that is exactly what it said they have according to our booking. The hotel says they do not even have any queen beds and no jetted tubs, despite that being the room we paid for and the shown amenities included online were nonexistent when we got there. No gym of laundry, no breakfast, nothing as advertised. Stay away from this hotel at all costs. Staying in your car would be a better choice at the truck stop down the road.

We regret your less than expected Stay. However you booked NQD room Which Stand for Nonsmoking room with a Queen and Double bed .Which you got There is room with A King bed and a Couch with a jetted tub .which is Way Higher Price and after Covid its out of oder.

It was a clean room with a comfortable bed. The decor and furniture are dated but you can see they are making improvements. The bathroom had been redone, a new TV and mirrors were evident. It was a reasonable price for an overnight stay.

Front desk was annoyed we booked with Expedia, complaining they only paid him $98 for our room. In what we assume was retaliation, he gave us the only smoking room in the facility, when we booked a non-smoking room. My husband is a disabled veteran with sleep apnea so it wasn’t a great stay. Bathroom door trim was falling off, dead bugs in the window tracks, burn marks all over the carpet, abandoned vehicles in the parking lot.

We never got this reservation in Our Choice System. This was prepaid so the Amount is not relevant. We were over booked.Inspite of that I Accomates them at the rate they booked.All the vehicles in parking lot have license plate or insured.We were glad not to charge them if they decided not to stay. or if they came back and mentioned that it was not as per their their expectation .and walkout rater than try to get refund after staying. In any case we regret your lees than expected saty.

A Great Place to Stay, on The Shoreline
I know Branford and Stony Creek well, having lived (years ago) in Guilford and Madison. I was visiting to attend the 50th Reunion of my high school class (go Daniel Hand!). I needed a comfortable and convenient place to stay, for a few nights, close to Madison. Rodeway Inn & Suites Branford-Guilford worked exceptionally well for me. The room was clean and comfy, complete with kitchenette (fridge, microwave, and coffee maker). Situated just off of I-95, it was an easy drive to my Madison program. I would like to mention, and praise, the kindness and gracious welcome I received from this hotel's owner, Mr. Dinu Patel. I have some mobility challenges, and Dinu ensured that my room was on the ground floor, and not the second, of this two-story facility. In fact, I was able to park my car just outside of my room. That was great! The scarcity of hotel lodging along 'The CT Shoreline' is surprising. Now that I have discovered Rodeway Inn & Suites Branford-Guilford, I will plan to stay there again when I have future travel to the area. Thank you, Dinu!

The owner was super nice. He saw that my husband was disabled and was concerned about him going to the second floor. He gave us the handicap accessible room at the price for the room we had paid for. It was very helpful.

I had a long drive and decided to break my trip up, so all I needed was a clean room/bed. You never know with the reasonably priced hotels! I was pleasantly surprised! Nice people at the desk, clean room, clean comfortable bed, big refrigerator/freezer, microwave, stores, beaches and Starbucks nearby, birds chirping out back, air conditioning blocked most of highway noise, no complaints, good value!

Clean, comfortable, convenient and priced well.
Great stay! Owner was nice and engaging. He even upgraded our room to a suite for free. Room was clean, comfortable, convenient with hairdryer, nice shower head, very clean bathroom, coffee maker, fridge & microwave and small sink as well as a small table and 2 chairs to eat breakfast at. Bed was comfortable and heat worked great. Nice sized tv and small couch. Free parking right outside the room was very convenient. We only stayed one night while we were in town for a Bob Weir concert. If we are ever down this way again we will definitely stay here.

Came in here for checkin around 9pm and receptionist did not ask me ID for confirmation of name and booking. Forced me to swipe my credit card which i asked what's the charge for and he threatened either swipe or no keys to the room... feel extremely unsafe with this check in process. And for sure when he printed the confirmation, it's under wrong name and i have to ask him to dispute the charge as i have prepaid on Obritz here. The receptionist joked that he never confuse Asian people and it's his first time. No joke late at night please!, this is the most shaddy hotel worst than my last 2 star checkin previously. We, three girls just want to safely check in, stay for the night and be gone. Everything in the room is fine but give me the vibe there's might be hidden camera which luckily none after i checked. Morning 10:30 before we even check out , the door got opened by cleaning lady as we are packing out...good that one of us stayed in the room to show physically we are still here in the room and have not yet check out. Strongly recommend to have strong heart prepared staying in this place.

Convenient but lacking comfort!
We had two nights booked at the inn while we were in town for a family wedding. Check in was fairly easy as we booked ahead of time but the innkeeper (at least half the time) wasn’t in the office. Room was clean but the biggest complaint was the AC unit. For a stay during the summer you’d expect comfort and though cold air was coming out of the vent only half of it seemed to work. Also it’s “climate controlled” in the sense that the office controls it so you can’t change the temp or settings. I tried questioning it with the innkeeper but didn’t get any resolution except that the units vary and the air coming in will affect it. We tolerated one night but ended up leaving a day early in the late evening. My wife is pregnant and was recovering from a cold at the time so it really wasn’t safe for her to withstand such heat. Sadly we will not be returning.

Decent and convenient
The location was very convenient for us. But being close to a busy highway makes it difficult for quietness, even more when you may hear low sound of neighbours’ TV and shower. The property and room were clean and comfortable. Wifi rather weak.

Decent but not great
Check in was fine, the room smelled like cigarettes even though it had a no smoking sign outside the door. There was supposed to be a coffee maker with coffee in the room there was not. The room was spacious. All in all it is decent for a one night stay.
