Great House - Great Neighborhood

Loved the amenities provided in the neighborhood. House was as advertised. Very peaceful sun porch and outside deck to relax on. Exactly what we needed.

Very clean, standard cabin

The cabin was super clean. It was a bit difficult to find first time, but fine after the initial visit. The cabin looks to be recently updated. Please be aware that there were limited amenities in the cabin: No soap, no hairdryer, VERY limited kitchen supplies. The cabin was expensive after paying the additional fees; there are many other rentals in the Brevard area that are superior to this rental for the same price or less. This rental was fine, just not worth the additional fees unless you specifically want to stay in the Connestee Falls neighborhood.

Great spot outside of Brevard

Lovely property, nestled up in the mountains in a wonderful neighborhood. We loved going for hikes in the neighborhood, playing at the lake, and looking for White Squirrels. It was a great place for a family vacation to the mountains.

Best time!

Home was perfect for 6 adults and 1 child, enough room for everyone. Perfect location in relation to Brevard. Loved the hiking trails in the community! They were so accessible and really cut down on having to navigate crowded trails at DuPont and Pisgah. Saw so many deer from the back porch. Can’t wait to return!

Great location and amenities

Possibly the best equipped house in which we have stayed. Had anything you could need in the kitchen, etc. Very clean. On site trails and waterfalls are fantastic. Easy access to town and nearby parks. Really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful little gem in the mountains

Easy access in a secluded gated mountain community. We enjoyed finding the local hiking trails, water falls, and lake park. Big Open spaces, with lots of room to relax. Nicely stocked kitchen and cleaning supplies.

An Epic Week

Fabulous rental! Great communication from property manager, home clean, super well stocked kitchen and supplies, delightful sun room. We swam every day in the lake, hiked couple of Connestee trails and drove to Gorges State Park one day for more hiking. Would definitely rent again!

Quiet family New Years

The house overall suited all our needs. Clean, stocked, and maintained. We loved the community and the hiking trails. We especially loved bringing our dog! The main downfall are all the fees associated with VRBO rentals. The nightly rate was appropriate, but we ended up paying over double for 2 nights!!! That is outrageous. Over the nightly rate in owners fees (including and resort fee for amenities that we wouldn’t use in 30 degree weather (I.e. pool, golf). In addition to owners fees, we also paid service fees not including tax. We would have never paid that much for a VRBO except that our children were looking forward to a surprise mountain trip and this was our best last minute option. We loved the place, but will no longer be using VRBO.

Perfect place to stay in Connestee

This home has a great location near the main entrance of Connestee, near the lake and the beautiful Amakola trail to the waterfalls. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. We definitely recommend staying there.

Great cabin near lake

Clean, well kept home 10 minutes from Brevard in a gated community. We picked up keys at a lock box at a local real estate office in town. The house was quiet and the community had trails that led to waterfalls. We were able to stay with our dog too. The kids loved the room with the bunk beds. Our master bedroom had its own bathroom and sliding glass door to the deck. There is a seasons room with with a fuse-ball table, rocking chairs, and bar pub table. It’s a peaceful place for coffee in the morning. We used the grill on the property. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked. You can swim in the lake, kayak, or paddle board. There was no place to rent a kayak, and it looks like you need a community sticker to use them. We jumped off the docks and swam. Our dog had a blast. It felt like a home away from home. All the neighbors were super friendly. We were very pleased with our stay.

The house was perfect for our 2 families! Everything was clean, plenty of room, and the kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed to cook meals every night. There were plenty of dishes and towels and room to spread out. Great location! Loved it!

Great place to stay for a weekend get-away.

Great place to stay for a family weekend get-away. We loved the neighborhood and enjoyed the golf course and pool. The house was very clean and well outfitted: the kitchen was very well stocked, the grill worked well, then towel/linens were nice and fluffy, the dining area and family hang-out space were great (the kids loved the foosball table), and the porch was great for drinking coffee/watching the sun rise. Be aware that the bedroom with the queen bed has a "sky-light" style light, so it doesn't get dark during the day (not ideal for napping). Otherwise, we loved our stay!

Beautiful house in a beautiful area

The house is surrounded by beautiful trees in a nice, quiet area. We and our Grandkids loved the nearby hiking trails, swimming in the lake, and playing in the pool. The town of Brevard is about 10 minutes away via winding roads, but that didn't bother us at all.
