“I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again.”

“Nice place but the room I had was next door to a nightclub. Friday and Saturday night were really noisy. So much so that I asked to move rooms on the Saturday. To be fair this was not a problem for the staff who accommodated my request. Other than the noise late at night, no issues.”

“We were a group of 17 friends having a 4 night stay at The Rookery to celebrate a big birthday. The Rookery exceeded our expectations and was a perfect location for us. It is fitted out to a very high standard and extremely well equipped. We really couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend.”

“Overall this is a very pleasant comfortable cottage. Our one criticism, would be not enough crockery, why install a dishwasher when you need to wash after every meal. Surely having a dishwasher is so you can wash a large load in one go, thus saving water, and energy.A few more different size plates would be useful.Otherwise very satisfied, lovely and quiet patio, comfortable bed and seating.”

“We have had a great week staying at Kingfisher Cottage; 12 people, 3 generations. The facilities were excellent. It was so nice to stay in a cottage with good quality pots and pans! We enjoyed all the walks from the cottage as well as the playing field, where our 92yr old grandpa was in goal and our 88yr old Nan Nan kicked the ball around.
