“This little house is perfectly equipped and maintained: everything you‘d need, no clutter. The view is phantastic, Dunbar is a very friendly, lively and relaxed community, coastal walks great, connections by train and bus to Edinburgh etc great, no car needed.Only be aware that, sitting directly on the waterline, the seaweed can be quite smelly.”

All the girls had a fab time and with ubers and abbey wood station just down the road you can get into central London in 40 minutes. Petra is a superhost. Always replying quickly and no question was too much to ask. I truly hope we have the opportunity to come back and stay for even longer! ”

“Great location for St Ives, with parking, as long as you are fit and able to walk up and down to town. Excellent location for visiting surrounding locations by car. A great property for 7- 10 people. Lots of space. Well equipped. ”

“Had a wonderful four days in this lovely old home. It felt like we went back in time. We enjoyed watching the sailboats go thru the locks in the canal. We only wish that we could read about the history of the house. We explored the area taking day trips… to Oban, Campbeltown, Southend, Tarbert etc.We give a thumbs up for having a full size washer and dryer. All the other places we stayed at had small washer/dryer combos or just a small washer and no dryer… that makes it hard when traveling for...

“Absolutely beautiful property! From the amazing Edwardian home (tall tall ceilings, lovely windows looking out over the water, wainscoting, gracious doors, renovated kitchen and bathrooms) to the stunning location: all A plus! Did I mention the fresh baked loaf of bread, butter, jam, milk and eggs all waiting for us? So thoughtful! Only issue was we couldn’t figure out the combo/lock system as our phones hadn’t switched to the UK eSIM so we missed that info email. But! We pressed the doorbell...

“We recently stayed at this property for just 2 nights as a base while exploring London, and we barely used the place, making it impossible for us to cause the kind of stains they later claimed. We received an email stating that a portion of our deposit would be kept due to “extra cleaning” for marks on the wall - which were already there when we arrived and are completely normal for a well-lived space and for a torn throw that was already in poor condition upon check-in. We made sure to leave...
