Our stay was so lovely! Warren and Caroline were gracious hosts and allowed my parents to check in early, they provided a tour of the property, and made sure everything that my parents asked of them was available. They were easily reachable by text or message if needed! The house itself was so charming! An old Maine home that has seen many things, and hosted many a gathering, we actually hosted our Vietnamese Wedding ceremonies and celebrations on Friday night right onsite in the dining room! Truly a wonderful stay & week. We will be interested to rent similar dates next year and host our one year anniversary!

Perfect spot for our family vacation.

This property is secluded but right in town. Plenty of room for everyone to get comfortable. The park and beach across the road are perfect for small children. The hosts were great, they gave us several good tips about the area. We loved it.

We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Location is perfect. Close to the swimming area of the lake and a very easy walk into town. The host are wonderful to work with. They are very helpful.

A wonderful week in Bridgton!

Our three generation family had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was perfect for the 9 of us - plenty of places to sleep and hang out. Very comfortable beds with nice linens and pillows. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials that made cooking for a crew fun and easy. We ate many meals on the screened in porch. The location of the house is perfect - easy access to the town beach across the street and a quick walk into the fun little town of Bridgton - especially for ice cream! Several of us enjoyed fishing from the dock across the street - this kept the grandkids very entertained! We had a motor boat which we launched across the street and kept at the mooring that goes with the property. The lake is beautiful and all nine of us took several sunset rides. We highly recommend this VRBO - The owners were very communicative and accommodating which always makes one feel that they care about their guests and their property. We would love to come back another summer!

We had our 3 kids, 2 spouses and 6 grands. There was plenty of room for all. Several quiet ‘getaway’ spaces. Nice gathering areas. Plenty of fun family game spaces. Lots of games and books and puzzles to enjoy. We enjoyed the kayaks and canoe very much. The beach and the lake are beautiful. There were plenty of essentials already provided which was so appreciated since we were arriving from Maine, Virginia and Louisiana. The owners were very quick to respond to our questions and Chuck was amazingly helpful! This was an amazing, quirky, comfortable home to stay for our 2 weeks. Thank you, Caroline and Warren!

Holiday Family Getaway

Our family (4 generations plus dogs) stayed for four nights over new year’s weekend. The owners accommodated us at the last minute when our other rental fell through. They were so responsive and helpful, even provided a pack and play for our 1 year old granddaughter. The house was spacious, comfortable, and very well appointed with kitchen equipment and supplies. Being walking distance to Bridgton village was a plus, yet at the same time, the home felt private and the neighborhood was quiet. Would definitely visit again!

Beautiful home with a fascinating history!

Since booking, the homeowners were super responsive, and allowed us to take the lead on how much or how little contact we wanted while staying at their home. The house was very clean, and though quite old, felt very up to date. They provided a book with the history of the house, that was very interesting. Beach view from the house, as well as access to a private dock across the street. The use of kayaks and canoes was very taken advantage of every day. I highly recommend this home!

Perfect winter getaway!

Trees was a perfectly lovely spot to be away for a few days! Cozy in the snow with a lovely view. And so close to Pleasant Mtn. Our hosts quickly answered any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Great week by the water

My family and I had a fantastic week hiking, kayaking and swimming in and around the quaint town of Bridgton Maine. The large beautiful farmhouse had old world charm and the location was amazing. We had the town beach and boat launch right across the street, if only we had a boat...we could have used the mooring provided. Nevertheless there was also private dock across the street where we launched the kayaks the canoe and the river tubes we brought for a leisurely float on the crystal clear waterS of Highland Lake. The owners, Warren and Caroline, were consistently checking in to make sure things were going smoothly. A few weeks before our arrival they added air conditioners to the bedrooms to make sure we were comfortable in the extreme heat. If you’re looking for a place to take the family and enjoy the outdoors, this home would be an excellent place stay. I appreciated having four Bedrooms and lots of relaxing spaces to spread out in the house without feeling overly crowded with the kids and their friends We would definitely stay here again.
