“My husband and I rented this house for our wedding weekend and it was absolutely perfect. We used the house for the bridal party to get ready as it is just a few steps away from the Brandon Inn where we got married. We also had our first look right out in the back yard and did some of our initial photographs. The house was extremely clean, beautiful and equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with far more than the usual. And the bathrooms had plenty of linens and bath towels...

“A spacious house in a good location, 30 minutes from trailheads in Keene valley and 10 minutes from shops in Schroon. Paradox Lake is great for swimming, kayaking, and fishing; lots of wildlife--loons, heron, beaver, deer, heron, and even an eagle sighting. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, good wifi (even by the beach). Host was very responsive. Only significant negatives were the lack of an outdoor shower or hose to clean off sandy children and no lake-side access to the house.”
