    This secluded house is comfortably furnished with a home-like atmosphere. The spacious living area offers room to spread out, take in the silence and relax! Large TV with cable & wifi. The kitchen is equipped to make light meals (no strong smells like curry, fish, cabbage, brussel sprouts etc) or to just microwave popcorn. Whatever you choose, it is all at your finger tips.

This is a great property for hanging out and relaxing. It’s in great shape and very clean and the property owner was helpful and quick to reply. Definitely recommend!

Connie was an amazing host! From the moment we booked all the way to check out, she was readily accessible if we had any questions or concerns! We loved the pickleball/basketball court, putt-putt course, and the thoroughly stocked bedrooms of extra linens and towels. The only negative was the box spring mattress in the second queen bedroom was extremely hard and creaky to relax on.

The property was just as described. We loved the screened in porch! It was a great place to end our day. Our kids really enjoyed using the pickleball court. The house had everything that we needed and there's nothing that I would've changed. There was even a cupboard with games and a pair of binoculars, which came in handy to spot wildlife. The lightning bugs were a nice evening bonus! Connie was an amazing host and checked in to make sure that we were enjoying our trip. We would definitely return to this property when we visit family in the area!

Lovely stay! This is very spacious property. Great communication with the host. Very convenient to Old Rag and local wineries. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic time, As a family of 6 , everyone enjoyed their time. The weather was perfect and we were able to enjoy everything the property offered, from grilling and eating outside to some family fun competition on the pickleball court. Loved having our morning coffee on the screened in back deck. So peaceful. My 17 year old son enjoyed the putt putt green . We enjoyed seeing a mamma deer and baby in the morning along with a family of baby turkeys. We enjoyed sightseeing and hiking the Shenandoah National Park and the Luray Caverns.Connie was so incredibly helpful and answered any questions we had right away. Thank you again, the Race Family

House is stocked with anything you could need. Comfy beds, spacious hangout living room, beautiful deck, and large kitchen. We loved our stay here and would recommend for large families or multiple couples!

Beautiful home

We stayed here for a family wedding nearby. This is by far the nicest house we have rented. We wanted to stay longer! Beautiful, very clean home.

Quiet & Peaceful!

A very quiet relaxing place in the country! The house was spacious & stocked with every thing we needed. Towels & linens were included which was nice. Would definitely stay there again.

Chalet in Brightwood

My family stayed here for the second time. The host, Connie, has everything so clean, beautiful, and inviting. Comfortable beds, all amenities you could want, on a beautiful property with fun activities right on the property. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Nice experience

We really enjoyed the stay. It was so peaceful. We enjoyed the quiet. House was very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. We will certainly stay again. It sure beats a hotel. We got to visit with family this way.

Great setting and location if you will be in the Madison/Culpeper/Greene area. The house is a good size with a large open common area. Highly recommend.

Cycling weekend

Connie has figured it out! Fully loaded kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, spacious living room. Loved the outdoor rooms. Super clean! Only suggestion would be a meal table. Wonderful stay and we will be back!

Quiet and private

Just the refuge I needed at the end of several long and exhausting days. Quiet, down a long drive away from the main road, with lots of privacy, yet I felt safe and secure as a solo traveler. I look forward to returning - on my own or with family or friends. Great experience overall!
