Questo cottage di pescatori del 1950 è stato piacevolmente rinnovato secondo gli standard moderni, anche se non è un luogo di lusso, è bello, pulito e con tutti i comfort moderni. Avere un barbecue nel giardino antistante guardando l'acqua è una bellissima esperienza.
La camera da letto principale è spaziosa con un letto matrimoniale, la seconda camera da letto contiene 2 letti singoli e un divano letto nella hall d'ingresso.
La zona giorno è un grande spazio aperto con:

La cucina ha tutto l'essenziale
C'è un bagno con doccia.
Nel capanno gli ospiti possono utilizzare:

La stazione ferroviaria è poco meno di 15 minuti a piedi per andare a Brisbane CBD o alla Gold Coast.
Dalla nostra casa puoi pedalare, camminare o correre seguendo il lungomare fino a Manly e Wynnum e goderti il ​​mercato di Manly il sabato / la domenica.
Lota Creek è anche una bellissima esperienza australiana di bushwalking, la pista parte dal piccolo ponte di Brenda su Bowering Street, a meno di 10 minuti a piedi da casa nostra.
Proprio davanti alla porta di casa dalla rampa della Queen Victoria, ci sono 2 ore di kayak in una direzione nel famoso Creek Tingalpa.
Ci sono 2 bei parchi giochi e parchi per i bambini nelle vicinanze, uno di fronte alla proprietà per bambini e bambini piccoli e un altro a 10 minuti a piedi per i bambini più grandi. Il Royal Queensland Yatch Squadron a Manly è a 15 minuti a piedi, è un'Accademia di Vela e offre una vasta gamma di corsi imparati a livello nazionale per imparare vela e vela in derive, barche a chiglia, multiscafi e tavole.

Loved Lota

Check in was easy, our first night was comfortable. Next morning however, we woke to some kind of bugs taking over the second bathroom. We sprayed the area, cleaned, they continued to invade. The owner was made aware, we were told to spray, that these things happen in Australia. Second bathroom became unusable for the remainder of the week. The owner lives on site, so we thought they might come deal with the pest situation, they did not. We left the property one day early. Lota is a charming town, absolutely worth visiting!

Three friends interstate get together

Enjoyed our stay in this little cottage. It was a nice place to come home to at the end of each day of outdoor activities in the beautiful greater Brisbane area. Great location with many beautiful walks close by and beautiful scenery. The host was easy to communicate with and check in was easy. Comfortable beds. Thank you

Just what we were looking for

From arrival to departure everything was made easy. Location was perfect for what we needed, house was clean, comfortable and affordable. Our host Valerie was very accommodating and no request seemed to be a problem. It's definitely not your five star accommodation but the property is clean, in a quiet neighbourhood and the train station is within walking distance. With the water just across the road having kayaks and bikes supplied that can be ridden for miles along the waterfront were a definate bonus. Will definitely stay again.

Pretty good

Everything went well for us. Never got a chance to use the available kayaks, but having a launch across the street is great. As a birder, the park across the street was also great. A bit odd not having a light in the bathroom with the shower,but we managed.

Family-friendly, quiet, and comfortable

My family and I (family of four) had a great month-long stay in this property. The location is great, with plenty of nearby playgrounds for kids (including one just across the road). The house was clean and had plenty of towels, sheets, and kitchenware (though there was not a microwave during our stay, so we borrowed one from family). It is small but has plenty of room for four people (including a full bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet as well and a half bath with toilet and sink). The owner was very easy to communicate with and even gave us an extra night free when our travel plans changed. The neighborhood is quiet and great for walks along the Esplanade or the mangrove walk around Lota Creek. Excellent if you are a bird watcher or like to canoe! It was also wonderful to be walking distance to the train for easy access to the city.

Handy to Chandler Swimming Complex

The property is a quaint cottage but it has everything you need and more. A pool table, bikes & kayaks. Valerie the host is so lovely and flexible. We didn't get to use all of the activities as we were out most of the days but it is lovely to come home and be able to cook. The little touches like extra toilet paper, washing powder, glad wrap, coffee, sugar and much more. Thank you Valerie for the lovely stay and the late check out.

Excellent seaside holiday

My son and i stayed at this property, it had everything we needed plus more! Very comfortable, we were concerned with no aircon in the main living space but the big fan did a great job and an aircon wasnt needed :)

Nice and relaxing

We liked the location and it was fantastic to have access to boats and bicycles! The property is nice and clean, with all the basic supplies. Yes, it would have been nice to have a dishwasher, as we stayed for a full week, but we managed :) Many thanks to the hosts!

Great little cottage to use as a home base!

Hosts were fantastic on arrival, giving a tour of the cottage and outlining local points of interest. Summer is warm and the cottage is basic but does have a great fan, a/c and a breeze. Also ensure that bug spray is used for sand flies. A wonderful place to stay.
