Amazing

Didn’t disappoint, everything we expected, but better. Location is so convenient, spacey and just overall such a nice place. Loved the tennis court as well :)

Very comfortable spacious apartment

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our party of 3 had a very comfortable stay at 14 The Islander. The location was perfect. It was walking distance to a very nice safe swimming beach good for morning walks with lots of coastal walk trails as well. It was great to be able to walk to the Straddie Hotel where their meals were delicous and had a killa view for sunset drinks, and to Straddie eats for our morning coffee. We also had takeaway pizzas from The Oasis which were excellent and also within walking distance for dining in or takeaway. The apartment itself was spacious and quiet with comfortable beds and had a well equipped kitchen. I would suggest however maybe the provision of a couple of rolls of toilet paper rather than byo and a couple of beach chairs and towels. The kookaburras are very entertaining but a bit annoying when you want to relax in the lovely outdoor area. The pool and tennis court looked inviting but because of the intermittent rain were not used. Communication with management for check in and out was very good.

Pleasant Stay.

Unit was well serviced, however there were a few safety concerns, mainly the floor lip into the Bathroom needs a yellow safety strip on the two faces. We all stubbed our toes on it several times! Overall we had a pleasant 4 days.

This is a second floor, renovated unit that presents well and was very clean. The balcony had a good outlook but as with much of the accommodation at Point Lookout, no views of the water. Located between the Bowls Club and the Hotel it was an easy walk to the beach and in a very good location. We enjoyed our stay and would go there again

Unfortunately this property was advertised as sleeping 5 and when we arrived it only slept 4 the bedding configuration had been changed and we were not contacted to discuss the new arrangements resulting in someone having to sleep on the lounge
