“Nice bright studio in a lovely and tranquil setting. The unit is cozy and comfortable with nice little touches including several options for making coffee, a small fridge, toaster oven & microwave. Plentiful towels and basic toiletries on hand. Location is perfect, close to highway entrance and small shopping center. Gracious hosts who went out of their way (shoveling after a snow storm and ensuring walkway was accessible) to make it a great stay.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Varney Hill Farm. The Loft apartment had everything we needed for our long-weekend stay visiting the Lakes Region. The apartment was clean and well kept. “Lisa was a wonderful host, very accommodating to our needs, always got back to us asap when we had any questions and supplied things like snacks, water & coffee which was not expected at all. My only slight disappointment, I say slight because we had so much to do that we didn't really have time to enjoy it, was the lake view. “The house overall was good, close to skiing and enough space. We were supposed to rent this house with friends who ended up not being able to make it at the last moment. The house would have been tighter than optimal with another couple, especially since the master on the ground floor is directly connected to the only bathroom. The community center left much to be desired which was unfortunate, definitely bring your own towels, they charge 3 for a towel and we didn't go down with our wallets so...
