“Lovely seaside retreat, perfect location and welcoming hosts. Breakfast was great and easy walking distance to the harbour. We had a harbour view room and the sunshine came through lovely late afternoon to enjoy whilst getting ready for the evening. Would highly recommend.”

Talking to neighbour Lance was also fascinating as he carefully renovates next door in keeping with the Grade II listing. Ideal for special celebrations. Kitchen well-equipped. “Ignore the bad reviews. This is the second year running I’ve came here with my children. The hotel is clean and the staff are really polite and helpful it’s cheaper than the other hotels in the area as it’s being refurbished the rooms are decent and lovely views if you get a sea room. ”

“ottima accoglienza riservataci dall apadrona di casa, stanza piccola ma arredata con buon gusto, bagno in camera minimalista ma non chiedevamo di più per passare una sola notte in due. unica vera grande pecca il riscaldamento, o meglio la sua assenza: stanza freddissima, riscaldabile solo con un calorifero elettrico che, pur essendo rimasto acceso tutta la sera non ha scaldato sufficientemente la piccola stanza. problemi anche a regolare la temperatura della doccia. “We had a very comfortable stay at the hotel and were impressed with the facilities and friendly staff. We returned for the 2nd time having also enjoyed our first stay. Love the views of Torbay and the internal architecture and furnishings of the hotel. It was a shame that the outdoor pool was closed but enjoyed the indoor pool / spa facilities.”
