“A little gem. Had a fantastic weekend stay at The Smugglers. From the minute we checked in to the moment we left, the staff made us very welcome. The restaurant served superb steaks cooked on their charcoal grill. thank you Mark and Emily and all the staff. “I travel frequently to the South West for work and generally stay here. For the price Trecarn offers a good option. The rooms and general decor is tired, but it is clean, the rooms are secure and the showers are hot and powerful. There is a bar and restaurant and there is outdoor seating when its hot. “The best way to describe the Great Western is with the two words, quaint and quirky! The house is in the middle of a massive re-vamp, but that did not impinge on my stay, which was short, but long enough to form a very positive opinion.
