Hotel vicino a Brockhole - The Lake District Visitor Centre - Windermere

“Jonathan was very welcoming. The lounge was a nice place to hang out with friends. Our bed was comfortable and the coffee service in the room went above the ordinary. Breakfast was delicious - make sure to order the prunes they’re amazing!”

“Our room in the block across from the main inn was really good, clean and comfortable. It was very quiet and the breakfast was excellent.”

“We were returning customers to Low wood bay @ the winander club. We were slightly disappointed to see that spa access was no longer included in Winander rooms but it is a beautiful spa, so we paid the extra £140. We were disappointed to find out if you wanted to borrow some slippers for the spa, they were also chargeable now. And on check out I was very shocked to see they were also now charging £12 per day to park your car if you hadn’t booked directly with them. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed...

“The room was cold. The underfloor heating was not working.”

“Nice place, right time of the year. Cabin and hot tub were excellent. The shared pool leaves a little to be desired for young kids. Especially those who may not be confident in the water. I would go back and stay in Lodge 15 Langsdale again. Short trips in the car gave great views of the area and loads to do. ”

“The location was very nice. The staff were lovely & helpful. The food was very well presented.. very good choice , could of been warmer!. .unfortunately our room No 9...was clean but over the kitchen area. There was a door banging quite often early morning, and up to 10pm or so. Also a constant extractor was noisy too. Our room needed a refresh. Plenty of parking.”

“The stay at the cottage was good. It is positioned on a busy road but it quiets down later at night. There is a shop at the petrol station that has everything you will need for the stay and close to bus tops to take to Ambleside and Windermere. The beds are on the soft side but not uncomfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped but he had to buy paper kitchen towels, bin bags and dishwasher tablets. All in all, our stay was great. We would stay here again. ”

“Constant battle to get anything sorted. Sykes holiday cottage agents said no pets in contract after advertising as with pets. Photos made look spacious but crab walk into rooms as tiny. Friday morning not even the water was working so left early. Cleaner said it was typical of the holiday park. ”
