“Fabulous location only 10-15 minutes walk to Tahunanui Beach which is very tidal but safe for children as at 2 hours off high tide is not too deep for children to enjoy a swim. There is a shower and tap near the Beach cafe for showering off sand after our swim. Our 2 bedroom unit is lovely with sliding door opened to let in the sea breeze on a hot sunny day and picnic table outside to enjoy a beer and dinner in the warm evening sun. “Great room with good modern decor, certainly a step up from the standard motel offering in NZ. Also loved the additional communal kitchen if you need more than the microwave in the room. Parking was a bit of a pain during the day because a lot of non-guests appear to use the car park and it's not policed.”
