  • Welcome to our Lakefront Cabin!
    This home is so gorgeous, sitting on almost an acre, on the lake!

    The huge yard back up to the lakeshore!

    You can leave your boat/jet ski's in the water if preferred or fish off the shore!

    Golf carts or similar are welcome and there is a path for them to the shore!

    Home does not have golf cart available presently.

    Fish cleaning station is outside under the deck with sink and mini fridge.

    Extremely peaceful and quiet!

    **Home sleeps 10 max**

    **We do have another 3 BR 2 BA property in the community if you are looking for additional space for large family gatherings**


    Community Swimming Pool with diving board opens in late Spring until Labor Day!!!!!!
    This is walking distance from the home. Super close.

The house was exactly as described. The driveway is a little tight for a dually with a boat, but we texted the host about possibly backing into the yard to get turned around. She was extremely quick to respond and was more than happy to grant permission to get turned around. The house was clean, neighbors friendly, the community pool was great for the kids. We will definitely book again. Hopefully the lake will be high next year and water will be up into the cove further. Overall great experience.

Located close to Sam Rayburn and a nice alternative to the overpriced & underwhelming hotels in the area. The interior was up to date and super clean. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with essentials to make our stay need free. The host was very accommodating and easy to reach to ensure we were informed prior to arrival.If we had one complaint it would be the spotty wifi. Host left instructions how to reboot which we did numerous times but wifi continued to buffer. No worries though, when in this area you wont spend much time online anyway.

Gorgeous view. Comfortable. Everything stocked in the kitchen for easy meal prep. Was definitely home away from home. My service dog was very relaxed in this home which made me very happy.

Great House Great ammenities

We had an excellent stay. The house had everything we needed. The outside deck was great and the extra wide parking was awesome. Every room had a TV and it was a very cool home. Great access to the lake and pool area. Lots of places to eat nearby.

Beautiful home on Big Sam

Nice place for a getaway. I stayed here with my parents for a weeklong fishing trip. House was very clean and in a very nice neighborhood. Location is convenient to boat ramps and close to a couple of convenience stores. Would book again.

was not clean back porch was dirty and house is in need of repairs. Shower leaks flooring popping up sheets needed changing sofa bed filthy. back porch was dirty in need of pressure washing. Not enough outdoor lighting. House did not live up to VRBO listing. I thought we were getting a better house than last year and was very disappointed. Paid more thinking I was getting a better place.

Very comfortable home. The view was awesome, the first day we had rain and we were able to enjoy the view outside on the deck. The pool is walking distance and the kids had plenty of things to do from the pool and the basketball court we enjoyed every minute. I launched the boat at a near by ramp and drove it to the house property. Good for guys with boats and a family.

Perfect Getaway

Nice location, beautiful view. It was very peaceful. Neighbors were friendly and nice. Wish we would have stayed one more day. Our host Jenny was always available when needed. I would definitely recommend to someone and would visit again. 😊

We stayed for three nights with the primary goal of shore fishing Lake Sam Rayburn. The wooded setting is peaceful, and the deck is a relaxing place to enjoy nature. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, those aspects were enjoyable.Unfortunately, the property did not meet our expectations based on the listing and photos.Our biggest disappointment was the fishing access. During our stay, the lake level was extremely low, leaving only 1–2 feet of water along the shoreline. While the owner can’t control lake levels, the listing emphasizes shoreline fishing and lake access. Under these conditions, shore fishing was essentially impossible, which was the main reason we booked this property.There were also maintenance issues. The deck table was very unstable, the pull-out sofa bed was damaged and unusable because the head section collapsed, and the basketball goal was in poor condition with the net barely attached.The listing photos also created expectations that didn’t match our experience. The pool appears to be part of the property but is actually a community pool. We also expected nearby restaurants and bars to be within walking distance, which was not the case.Overall, we paid a premium price and did not feel the value matched what was advertised. The natural setting is beautiful, but the listing should more clearly distinguish private from community amenities, accurately describe nearby attractions, and ensure advertised features are maintained.

The full size bedroom, had a dental stick under the comforter and a lot of particles (like food) all over the bed. First bathroom had the toilet roll fall off.Spiderwebs were all over the baseboards in the kitchen along the big windows. Keurig coffee pot did not work. But, overall a great place and we will return again next year. Our 1st annual cousin getaway was a success Thank you
