Cabina personalizzata nel bosco

La casa stessa è davvero unica. Un'opera d'arte del proprietario, i dettagli rendono questo un posto da ricordare. Dalla scala foderata a mano tagliata a mano all'altalena della panca che pende dalle travi del soggiorno al letto a soppalco che guarda fuori da un lucernario, bambini e adulti si divertiranno un mondo ad esplorare questa casa.

La grande cucina ha molto spazio per tutti per aiutare a preparare i pasti. Il bar dispone di un terrario con ripiano in vetro pieno di stelle marine, dollari di sabbia, conchiglie, rocce - vedi cosa puoi trovare! Il muro di finestre ti consente di goderti la vista ovunque tu sia. Il soggiorno presenta un'altalena a panca appesa alle travi e un'accogliente stufa a legna.

La camera da letto principale offre un letto king-size fatto a mano, una grande vasca da bagno e una doccia a vapore di grandi dimensioni. Goditi la vista dalle finestre avvolgenti anche in questa stanza.

Il soppalco può ospitare altri due su un futon e ha un biliardino per il tempo di gioco. La camera a castello per bambini può ospitare sei persone (due letti queen size, un letto a castello singolo e un letto a soppalco singolo che si affaccia sul lucernario). I bambini vorranno dondolare / carta / forbici per il punto di osservazione delle stelle!

Fuori c'è un intero mondo da esplorare. Il grande ponte offre molte vedute per godersi o passeggiare lungo uno dei sentieri della grande proprietà. C'è un grande barbecue per le bistecche della cena, quindi una buca per il fuoco più tardi la sera, quando è il momento di arrostire alcuni marshmallow.

Quando sei pronto per un'avventura lungo la collina, dai un'occhiata a Whaleshead Beach, a meno di un miglio di distanza. Sentieri escursionistici seguono la costa per gran parte fino a Brookings, oppure dirigetevi a nord per altre opzioni.

This house did not disappoint. Beautiful views, well-stocked, comfy beds, unique design features, and loads of outdoor space. The shower downstairs is incredible and the tub has the best ocean view in the whole house!

From the moment I climbed the flattop boulder stairs (easy ascent/descent) and entered the home, I was instantly in awe but also felt very welcomed. Seeing the magnificent structure, with timber beams, mortise, and tenon style in-person will delight anyone who appreciates architecture. Everything you need to cook can be found in the beautiful kitchen wood cabinetry (hickory?) with stone pulls. The seashell counter displays, the antler & skull collections, the macrame wood swing, and the wood stove are all framed with forest and ocean views and deserve attention. In the master bedroom, we enjoyed the super comfortable king-size bed with pillows galore. The master bath has a steam shower with dual shower heads, a round river rock floor, and a seashell/glass accent border. Check out the cabinet pulls; they are made from antlers. I don’t usually get too excited by stairways, but this house has a heavenly one. The home is well situated in the woods with plenty of privacy but still close enough to town for when you need to go there. The property is very close to: 3 rivers (Chetco, Winchuck and Rogue), state campgrounds and state forests, radical viewpoints, and hiking trails but it is a hard home to leave due to its comfort level and abounding views, especially if it is raining. We look forward to coming back soon to visit this Pacific Palace In The Woods!!!

We loved the gorgeous views inside and out. The custom log beams and wood interior feel both comforting and luxurious. The home is well provisioned with cooking equipment and gear. Plenty of games for all ages. We had many people filling the beds. There are only two bedrooms but lots of sleeping options that the kids enjoyed- hello triple level bunk style! Perfect for cousins. No room darkening blinds on windows so bring your eye masks. This is one of the best stays we’ve ever had.

The house was clean and had a beautiful sunset view. There’s multiple spots in and outside of the house to watch the sunset. The hill drive up is steep, so just keep that in mind. It’s a convenient distance from town. The only downside was there was no AC. Other than that, it was great.

Loved all the unique details, comfortable layout, and beautiful views. The sunset was best viewed from the top deck, but we loved the view from the swing in the living room too. The king bed was super comfy! The garden tub with ocean view was a treat. Enjoyed the proximity to beautiful beaches. We are seniors... 72 and 75. We both loved our stay.

The place was hard to find up a steep bumpy gravel single lane road. When we arrived we could not get TV to work. When I called about this I was told to rent dvds. No cable TV so we put a puzzle together. The upstairs had bunk beds and all beds in one room. A live bat swarmed our bed at night so opened door to get it out. I would never rent this home again paid over $900 for 2 nights.

Cabin was super cozy with a beautiful view. Far enough away to feel like you are in the forest, but super close to town and hikes and beaches and even the redwoods in California. Only complaint is I emailed property manager twice - once to confirm they received the rental notice I signed and another to ask for advice on local hikes, and no response was ever received. Likely due to the fact that it is a property management company running it as opposed to a homeowner.

If you love privacy and gorgeous views, this is the place for you. Everything was as pictured or better, and we felt right at home. We loved our time here reading on the deck, sitting in the swing, and relaxing in the tub. One week wasn't long enough!

Great location to use as a base to explore the coasts and forests of northern California and Southern Oregon. Beds are a bit soft, Neighbor’s rooster is friendly, house is so cozy you might want to stay in rather than getting out and doing things.
