Hillcrest Cottage @ Berry

Hillcrest Cottage è a pochi minuti dalle delizie di Berry. Completamente autonomo con aria condizionata e caminetto, situato in cinque ettari su una tranquilla strada di campagna.

Hillcrest Cottage è composto da tre camere spaziose: un open space soggiorno / pranzo / cucina con un fuoco di combustione, una grande camera da letto con un letto king-size e letto singolo (può essere spostato in salotto su richiesta) e un bagno completo con doccia separata e bagno. Tutti i pavimenti sono piastrellati, i soffitti alti con legno lavato a calce. Goditi una partita a tennis sul campo da tennis a grandezza naturale. C'è una stufa con forno e barbecue.

Hillcrest Cottage è perfettamente adatto per coppie o un gruppo di tre. Una bottiglia di champagne di benvenuto e cioccolatini all'arrivo.

Si consiglia di fare passeggiate lungo strade di campagna, parchi nazionali, passeggiate a cavallo, passeggiate nel bush a Drawing Room Rocks, beach hopping (Seven Mile, Gerroa e Werri Beaches sono tutti a 18 minuti di auto), così come vino, jazz e giardino festival, musical e altro.

Potresti preferire semplicemente sederti sulla veranda coperta con un bicchiere di vino e goderti la vegetazione lussureggiante, la fauna locale, i panorami pittoreschi e la tranquillità. Asciugamani, lenzuola e articoli da toeletta sono forniti.

Cosa c’è nei dintorni?

  • (Flower is fuschia heath) A “BEAUTIFUL” DAY In typical Ian fashion, I had ideas where I might go but left it till the morning before I was convinced it would be Barren Ground. Despite its unattractive name there was a promise of wildflowers. I’d bypassed it on a previous trip but its curious name lured me in. I’d zig-zagged up the Jamberoo Mountain Road the day before but I still managed to marginally overshoot the turn off. Alighting at the carpark I could see I wouldn’t be alone, but you certainly wouldn’t call it crowded. I chose the Griffith Trail, apparently it’s rated number #30 on N.S.W. top 60 day walks. Tasmania really started something all those years ago when they came out with their top 60 brochure, stealing a march on other states. I was so pleased when I cracked 40 of them but N.S.W.’s had escaped me then and continues to do so. I have no idea where the rating on the sign came from. The trail has a feature, a natural stone bridge. That conjured up all sorts of images in my brain but I wondered if the 8kms would push my dodgy knees to the limit. Nothing ventured……. There was an expectation of wildflowers. It had said on sites that I’d checked that now was a prime time. They weren’t immediately apparent but when I came across the first batch it was merely a prelude. Soon they were in abundance, at times the best displays I’d ever seen. Violet, yellow and white were in profusion, scattered all along the edge of the track.

  • Australia, land of the beautiful sunsets. When I think of Australia, I think of beautiful sunsets. This photo was taken last year on my 1 year backpacking trip through this beautiful country. Probably the most astonishing sunset I’ve ever seen so far. Crazy enough I was walking down the beach all alone while this explosion of magic happened in the sky. A Little Gem

A very cute country cottage with many thoughtful inclusions. Definitely peaceful and comfortable with a fenced in paddock for our little dog to do her zoomies. Would loved to stay again in the future.

Fantastic and peaceful stay

Had a great time at Hillcrest Cottage. Great setup for three of us, enjoyed our time around the property and playing tennis, and our dog had absolutely the best time she is now experience post holiday blues!

Dwelling was compact, cute and well considered Full kitchen is a bonusPlenty of nicely mowed areas to walk the dogsMain drawback was there was no wifi at all and no phone range inside the building so we couldn’t hot spot. We therefore went without the internet for 48 hrs which isn’t fair.The owner was away and the windows didn’t lock, meaning when we went out our laptops etc were vulnerable to theft.There was a faint smell of septic tanks throughout the house and noisy mice in the roofWe had a nice time despite this…. could have been better though!

Peaceful Retreat

Very nice location, beautiful outlook,.comfortable king sized bed & well equipped kitchen. The only complaint I had was the fridge was very noisy which was annoying at night.Host Janette was very welcoming

Beautiful property

Janette, our host, has a beautifully maintained 5-acre property, which our pet dog enjoyed exploring.The cottage provided everything we needed. Janette also provided access to a tennis court along with rackets and balls.The location is just minutes from Berry and central to many activities.We enjoyed our stay in Hillcrest Cottage.

Great for stay near Berry with dogs

Comfy cosy cottage with king size bed. Janette made us all very welcome. Easy drive to Berry and 15 mins to beaches too. Our dogs enjoyed their giant back yard.

For our Xmas holidays

We absolutely love Hillcrest cottage, Janette was so lovely and very welcoming. Short drive to berry for a quick meal at the pub and to pick up some supplies.You have the best of both worlds beautiful quiet farm stay, but close to beaches as well.Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful retreat

We stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed all that the property has to offer. It is a 3 min drive into Berry, yet tucked away on a quiet and peaceful property. The owner is very friendly and the check in process was easy. We especially loved the surrounding trees and greenery. We could open up the house and let the fresh breeze put us to sleep at night. The house had everything we needed for our getaway.

Excellent Experience

This was our fourth stay at Hillcrest Cottage. An excellent position close to Berry and Nowra. Jannette is an excellent host; always makes you feel welcome including your pets. My only concern about this recommendation is that it may become too popular.

Berry Nice Getaway!

Janette the property manager was helpful and friendly. The property was clean and had a small indoor fireplace with plenty of wood available at no cost. We loved picking fruit from the orchard and our little dogs had an absolute ball running around the large property. The driveway was lined with trees in spectacular Autumn colour. Lots of rain for us but with Berry minutes away, we still found plenty to do and see. Thank you and we hope to be back again some day.

Janette was very welcoming and helpful, while the accommodation was perfect for myself, granddaughter and my cat Tia.Full approval was given by Tia as well as us. All spotlessly clean, comfortable and everything we needed. Only one problem - we would have loved to have stayed a lot longer.
