“We had a great stay at this hotel near Elgin Beach, close to Tobermory. The property was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The check-in process was easy, and the instructions were very clear. Even though there was no front desk staff on site, we had no trouble checking in. “Pro's - lovely front desk staff, nice clean entrance, ample parking, close to shopping and downtown. Spacious room. Con's - The room we were given (#234) smelled like someone had cooked stinky fish; there were greasy finger prints on the kitchenette cupboards and the inside handle on the door. 3/5 for cleanliness of room overall. Uncomfortable bed, for us at least. It was too soft. Sloppy contractor work done with the painting - paint splatters on the tiled floor, on the bathtub and counters....
