Located in a private, gated community just off Highway 28 North, High Timber strikes the perfect balance between peaceful seclusion and easy access to adventure. The cabin is ideally situated near the Almond Boat Dock on Fontana Lake and a public lake access point, perfect for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, and more. The renowned Tsali Recreation Center is less than 10 minutes away, while the Nantahala Gorge is just a 15-minute drive for whitewater rafting and zip lining. Downtown Bryson City is about 25 minutes away, offering charming shops, restaurants, breweries, and access to Great Smoky Mountains National Park for hiking, waterfalls, and seasonal tubing.

Access Road:
Accessible by cars and most vehicles, the route to High Timber features paved and hard-packed gravel sections on a well-maintained mountain road. Expect some switchbacks and moderate to steep inclines, but no washed-out areas. Please note: the roads are not considered motorcycle-friendly.

Exterior :
Step outside onto the expansive deck and take in sweeping, unobstructed mountain views that stretch as far as the eye can see. Unwind in the private hot tub as the mountains glow at sunrise or fade into mist at dusk. The deck also features a gas grill and an outdoor dining table that is perfect for al fresco meals surrounded by nature’s grandeur. Below, the fire pit area invites evenings spent under the stars, gathered around the crackling fire in classic Adirondack chairs, creating unforgettable mountain nights.

Entry Level :
The entry level welcomes you with a wide-open, airy floor plan that feels both grand and inviting. Rich wood textures and soaring ceilings set the tone for luxurious log cabin living. At the heart of the living room is a striking stone gas log fireplace, surrounded by plush seating ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. This cabin is NOT pet friendly. If prior approval has not been granted and a pet is discovered on the property, penalties will be imposed, including the immediate removal of the pet, eviction from the cabin, and forfeiture of all rental payments.
