A stunning house in gorgeous surroundings.
We were three couples staying together at Abercorn for the weekend and we were delighted with absolutely everything. The building itself is spacious, elegant and well appointed and styled. The kitchen is stocked with everything item you need to cook up a storm and the pod coffee machine is a blessing. There is a bookshelf filled with great books and games ( we even managed to complete a jigsaw puzzle together over the course of our stay). At night we had the choice of the outside fire pit or the indoor fireplace, both were put to good use and kept us cosy. I think we all agreed that one of the most breathtaking features of Abercorn are the amazing full size windows that seem to wrap around the house, giving a feeling of almost 360 degree views to the gardens, courtyards and paddocks. During our stay we also had access to the well stocked vegetable garden, which was a real treat. The whole place, from the spacious bedrooms with super comfortable beds, and elegant bathrooms stocked with lovely products (and a great hair dryer) is perfect for a group of friends or a family. The communication with our host, Sara, was exceptional and informative from the very first point of contact and we are grateful for that. We cannot recommend this place and our host highly enough. Thank you Abercorn and Sara, we will be back.

Gorgeous and peaceful
The house is quaint and in a beautiful setting. Close enough to town for easy access but far enough to feel like you’re in the countryside. It’s very well equipped and the bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Sara, our host was lovely, friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a bottle of wine on our arrival and she came to say hi and check on us. She also offered to have the kids feed their cows. We forgot some of our belongings which she kindly posted back to us. Loved our stay and would highly recommend!

What a beautiful place to stay……
Stunning property so close to town. Well equipped, clean and fabulous communication. This home has a lovely feel and is so easy to enjoy with friends. I would strongly recommend and hopefully one day soon we can return. 😊

Wonderful Mudgee Holiday Home Experience!
The home was situated in a very ideal location being very close to town for supplies and being far enough to get the true country experience. The home was well designed with more than enough bathrooms and a very large living area for the children to play. The home was very neat and clean apon arrival and had a wonderful fire pit outside. The property had pet cows for the kids to pat and feed which was a definite highlight for the kids as we are from Sydney suburbia. The property manager was nearby and was able assist with every query I had. The property had plenty of extra towels and amenities which really helped. Overall experience of this property and location is 5/5. I would definitely recommend this wonderful home to friends and family when staying in Mudgee.

Great place for family or group of friends. If you forgot essentials don’t worry it probably in the property. Stayed 6 adults two children could not fault it. One thing pointed out by our sons and their spouses was that only one king bedroom. I think these days all should be rather than queen beds.

You won’t be disappointed!
I booked this property as our daughter was getting married and we needed a house with plenty of room so everyone could have space when required. The house met all our expectations and more. Sara was a delight to deal with and always responded promptly to my questions. The kitchen was well stocked and it was refreshing not to have to go out and buy extra tea bags and coffee. The garden is lovely and we all enjoyed walking around taking in the lovely scenery. Thank you Sara for making our stay memorable. Regards Alison

Fabulous stay
This is a beautiful, spacious property. A perfect place for a big family or multiple families. Very well equipped, very clean and the hosts were very responsive. Loved the outdoor fire, table tennis table and the large indoor spaces. We had a wonderful 4 night stay. Thank you.

Fantastic property!
This is the second time we have stayed as a larger family and friends group and it didn’t disappoint. The house is just lovely with modern, clean bathrooms and facilities. The property is perfect for kids to run around and then all relax by the fire pit and toast marshmallows. Another wonderful stay and we will definitely be back!

Overall Mudgee is just beautiful and so friendly. Abercorn is a great place to stay for large groups. I think it is one of the only venues that has indoor and outdoor fireplaces.

We enjoyed a fabulous long weekend at Abercorn with 3 other couples.
Abercorn is a delightful property to stay at. Large open plan main area that still felt cosy. Fabulous kitchen and outdoors areas plus a games room downstairs. Bedrooms and bathrooms immaculate and communications with Sara so easy. Only 5 minutes down the road into Mudgee and close to numerous vineyards and eateries. Highly recommend a stay here, we will definitely be back.

A weekend in paradise
We booked abercorn for a 3 day weekend getaway with some friends and we could not be happier with our decision. Sara our host was extremely accommodating and professional throughout the whole booking, housekeeping process and also took time to suggest places to see and things to do. I’m a builder and I have to say that the finishes of the house have been completed really well. High end styling makes for a beautiful modern farmhouse. You really do feel at home. The outdoor fire pit was amazing, and the scenery and sunsets, breathtaking. We will definitely be back. Thanks again Sara

Stunning house in Mudgee!
What an amazing house! We had such an amazing time in Mudgee and he super stylish and modern Abercorn was such a wonderful base for our weekend. The photos don’t do it justice, the living area is huge with many large windows and doors to appreciate the views. The house was well furnished and had all the amenities including the fire was enjoyable and warm in winter. Loads of extras including books and games and a lovely stock of provisions left by the host was a lovely tough. A great BBQ and outdoor area with firepit was also a treat! The host provided great communication, from travel tips in Mudgee to directions and instructions for the home. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you Sara and Abercorn for such a fantastic weekend!!!

Escape to the country
Abercorn is the perfect place to escape to from the hustle and bustle of the city. This modern country house is simply stunning. Every effort has been made to make this place homely and welcoming, with close attention to detail in mind. Sara our host went above and beyond to welcome us to Mudgee. She was in regular contact, updating us on local events happening in town, potential cafes and restaurants to visit and a range of available wine tours available. We absolutely loved our stay at Abercorn and would highly recommend this as the place to stay when visiting Mudgee.

Beautiful deluxe country home
This house is fabulous and well-equipped for two families, we all had plenty of space. We loved the fire pit and ping-pong table and the spotless modern bedrooms and bathrooms. The living area and kitchen are huge and the fireplace heats the whole room. Host Sara was very helpful with recommendations around Mudgee which is a beautiful country town. Thanks for a great weekend.

Wonderful weekend away with friends
We stayed over the long weekend in June and had a wonderful break away. The house was spacious, well appointed, modern and clean. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax inside and the fire pit outside was a big hit with the adults and kids! Plenty of room for the kids to explore outside and they loved toasting marshmallows by the fire. Sara was fantastic to deal with and the whole weekend booking/check in process was easy. We will definitely be back!

Unforgettable!!
The house is absolutely amazing, from the beautiful surrounding countryside, to the gorgeous open plan home which is so welcoming, warm and extremely comfortable. Sara was also so helpful! We had 6 adults and 6 kids and there was plenty of room and plenty of cutlery!! We also made use of the fantastic fire pit outside to sit around and gaze up at the stars!! We’ll be back!

Fabulous Easter minibreak
We had a lovely time at Abercorn. It is a beautifully presented property that is well located and equipped. Sara was a great host, who immediately attended to a problem that arose as well as providing us with lots of local advice. I would definitely recommend Abercorn for a Mudgee stay!

This is the life
Arriving for a three day stay, and found the house and property was everything we expected. Speechless panoramic views of thehills and surrounds, and your own vineyard too. Accomodation was modern yet rustic and very homely. Everything we need and more, was made available by our host. Made our stay at Mudgee feel eternal.
