“This B&B was exceptional. The attention to detail was out of this world. It felt almost like staying in a top class hotel. Everything was laid on and Helen was superb in anticipating everthing I needed. And the breakfast - well - no words to describe how great it was. Again the attention to the smallest detail was fantastic. Will certainly stay here again if I'm in the area. Well Done!”

“Hotel was great full of character, breakfast was expensive for basic standard breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very large, which was great as I took 3 teens ghost hunting. Very dog friendly”

“What a beautiful place to stay. Lovely hotel and grounds, easy access into Tring and surrounding countryside. We had a superior room with garden view - lovely room, nice amount of space, lovely bed and bathroom and partial views of the garden (room 344) 2 lads behind the bar were great, they certainly were kept busy as hotel is popular. Dinner was good quality - we had the inclusive menu as pre paid for dinner and breakfast. Breakfast also nice, but did have to wait around 20 minutes for...

“We had a very good time at the Pointer would stay again. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was extremely spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.”

“Fantastic cosy room. Lovely shower , comfy bed. The check in is via phone and a key safe . The room was well stocked and very clean. Main problem is the doors to rooms don’t have quiet closing so when the ignorant other guests go in and out there is constant slamming of doors. We stayed in the room with exposed beams and it was very well thought out . Good for walking holiday due to location.”

“There was a pool, sauna and steam room. I went with my 12 year old and there were times kids could use these facilities (and the seating area outside the pool), these were 9-10 and 2 hours (think it was 4-6pm). Under 16s not allowed in the heat rooms. Got towels given to us at the pool to use. Overall a great stay, nice food and kid friendly.”
