“A lovely country pub. The landlady was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets in the room. The food was exceptional and the breakfast was amazing. Even freshly brewed coffee which you do not get in hotels. We were pleasantly surprised.”

“Stayed here for 3 nights do a conference locally and it was perfect. Friday enjoyed a beautiful meal in the restaurant. Staff went above and beyond. Very approachable if I had any questions. Looking forward to coming back next year! ”

“A lovely welcome and everyone during our stay were lovely. We stayed in the outside annexe so can’t comment on more internal rooms. These rooms were clean and well equipped just are ready for a refurb which judging from the rest of the property will be done I am sure. Still very worth a visit the restaurant was amazing ”

“We were the first overnight guests for the new owners and forced them to accelerate their plans for taking guests!
They were lovely and could not have given us a warmer welcome.
They have great plans for the Bull Inn and we would love to go back in future to see the results. We wish them every success with their new venture. ”

“I had a really great stay at the Bull Inn which is located in a lovely quiet village surrounded by the countryside.
My room was very clean, and the bed was so comfortable, and because it’s so peaceful, I had a fabulous nights sleep. Beats noisy large chain hotels any day!!!
Lots of tea / coffee with biscuits provided which was nice as I’ve been to many hotels recently where you get minimal items.
Lots of free parking and directly outside your own room which was brilliant for carrying suitcases...

“The check in was smooth.. id asked to check in earlier which was accommodated. I had a contact number for any problems or needing help. Earlie check in cost an extra £10. Very happy with room, nice and clean.staff very polite. Parking just down the road.. shame its not free. Lots of place's to eat in. Generally happy.”

The air conditioning was a massive bonus on one of the hottest day of the year and with us bringing our dog, our room had its own patio and direct access onto the gardens , which was perfect. All the staff were very friendly and professional with a superb breakfast. I Would definitely recommend for a special occasion stay.”

Further investment would return this place to it's obvious former glory, but for the price we paid we were pleasantly surprised with the quality we received and would absolutely stay again. Interesting plumbing, seemingly hot water from both taps (?!?) only added to the fun. Lovely service, brilliant Indian food, great location. The village is well worth a stroll around. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.”

“Lovely pub/hotel with lots of old world charm. Clean and comfortable in a great location. Stayed for Sunday lunch which was excellent. Bedroom was spacious and had everything you could need. My only very slight negative was the traffic noise, as our room was at the front. ”
