Magical getaway

My teen daughter, who is a Harry Potter fan, was thrilled to find so much memorabilia throughout the tiny house. From the Mirror of Erised to the Monster Book of Monsters to themed décor, we enjoyed discovering all the details. Great little place

Super responsive and friendly people. Very cool speakeasy on property with karaoke on some nights and outdoor movies! Friends stayed in the Star Wars themed house, all the decorations are meticulously done. Close to Austin and Lockhart (BBQ festival). Each place had a fenced yard for your pups. Perfect place for groups of couples to have their own place but be next door

Relaxing

This place was perfect for my family to get some sleep after a long day. We were able to watch the late movie with some popcorn. The kids loved the little cottage filled with trinkets of the Harry Potter movie. Looking forward to another stay.

Short getaway for son’s birthday

Our stay was an absolute dream. My son is a huge fan of Harry Potter and we had so much fun with all the memorabilia and decorations. The drive in was an extra treat and such a nostalgic experience. 1000/10 - highly recommend!!

Definitely nice on the Decor and a neat little room. My only complaint is that the rubber seal on the door wasn't great and some.... Interesting species of insects found their way in a few times. But that's a minor nitpick.

Perfect family getaway!!

We had an absolute blast coming out here! We really needed a quick, family getaway, to rejuvenate and this could not have fit the bill better! As a Harry Potter, and Halloween loving family, we absolutely LOVED all the details in the house! My 5’ 10” teen daughter said she slept great on the fold out! Mostly, we love the atmosphere and hospitality of everyone working with the tiny homes, and drive in! We had an incredible time watching Rocky Horror, the food was so good, and it was incredibly convenient to order a few treats ahead to put in the condo for late night snacks! We went to Bat City Scaregrounds, for some haunted house fun and it far exceeded our expectations, and only 3min away! I loved that when we came back, everyone got to enjoy doing a little of their own thing, my teen watched a dvd on the cabin, I watched the late night horror showing at the drive inn, and my husband really enjoyed the speakeasy! That speakeasy…. Was incredible! Would never have expected that out there, and the drinks were incredible too! We will 💯 be coming back! It was exactly what our family needed and we can’t wait to do it again!

Great experience

We loved the movie, ability to bring dogs…however there is absolutely no storage so if you stay more than 1 night there is no room for toiletries and change of clothes. Also, the air conditioning was sub-par…we could not sleep because the room was muggy and would not cool below 86 degrees when the sun came up…we were miserable so we checked out and went home.

Prefect weekend getaway

The property is really neat and a really great idea, executed very well. The drive in experience was awesome, the cocktail my husband had at Mama Merlot's was excellent and the concession stand nachos were not only awesome, they were celiac friendly which is huge for me. My husband, our dogs and i stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. We are already discussing coming back.

Great place to stay!

We absolutely loved our weekend stay here! The house was amazing- awesome decorations, very clean & so cozy! We were in town for a music festival so we didn’t get to check out the drive in, but we loved it so much we’ve already booked a return trip & plan to spend the evening at the drive in!

Magical Escape

I stayed here with my dog and loved every minute! The house was cozy and provided everything I needed for my stay. I saw 2 movies and it was super easy to get tickets and order food. The food was delicious! And the best part was being back at home 2 minutes after the movie was over. Plenty of room to walk my dog, the property was quiet even while movies were going and it's close enough to other conveniences.

Magical Experience

Snuggling up at the Wizarding House was an amazing time especially during the Holidays! The decoration was spot on and host was very clear on all the instructions and helped with any accomodations and requests we had. Would definitely come back to check out the other experiences ^^

Great place for a family staycation

My family of four enjoyed staying in this property and having dinner, drinks, and a drive-in movie onsite. The property was clean, conveniently located, and had all the amenities we needed. My kids enjoyed the themed decor, books, and DVDs.

We just loved this place! and the Drive In!

Everything about this place was great. The themed house, the frig, microwave & all he coffee stuff. The Drive-In Theater was our favorite though. We spent every night enjoying the great food, adult beverages and the movies. Everyone was so nice and treated us live family. We hope to come back again.

All I can say is WOW! The owner went all out decorating the home in all things Harry Potter. All of the little touches were delightful. The yard is big and perfect for pups. Will definitely visit again.

Fun times at the drive-in theater

We decided to stay here and catch a movie. The tiny house is located on the same property as a small drive-in theater. While you can't see the screen from the home, it is a walk of about 100 yards to get to the concession. Movies started promptly and the projection quality was quite good. The concession was unusual in that it was pretty darned delicious. Much of the food is scratch-made and centers on faves like chopped brisket or carnitas. However, expect orders to take little while as the kitchen is small. Better yet, arrive early and eat there. The owners of this property were terrific to deal with and extremely responsive. We're definitely heading back.

A tiny piece of the wonderful wizarding world

It was the perfect getaway for New Year's Eve! The place was decorated to the tee! Pros: -All things Harry Potter -Able to utilize the drive-in for a small fee and free popcorn! -A nice-sized television with a decent size collection. -Hot cocoa! Cons: -A s'mores maker was listed on the listing, we found nothing -Dog poop was in the yard from the previos renter. -the bathroom is super tiny!

Creative, fun, unique stay

We had a great time staying at the movie-themed cottages! They were decorated with a lovely sense of detail, full of great touches but spacious and open. The landscaped fenced yards were a great addition, enabling our families to have their own spaces and still easily socialize outdoors. The manager graciously scheduled a terrific family friendly movie that was perfect for our group. We can't wait to visit again!

Pricey stay

The property was clean and ready. The staff at Docs drive in was friendly and helpful. I think that prices associated with this property are a bit over the top. The pet fee and cleaning fee are ridiculous. I had to pay in fees which in fact doubled the amount of the property cost and still had to clean up before leaving. At the end of the day the all the fees and the rental cost raised the price of the stay double plus an additional fee to watch the movie. The description is somewhat misleading I was under the impression I could view the movie from the deck of the mini-home which is not the case. Just a bit disappointing overall. I don’t feel that the property is worth the overinflated pricing.

Wizard Tiny House

Clean and neat tiny home perfect for our family to stay a night! The fresh pitcher of water in the fridge was perfect for the hot day of arrival and the s’mores were fun to make at night. We relaxed and watch Harry Potter DVD’s during the day and went to the drive-in at night where we ate the delicious brisket quesadilla, nachos, and mini pizza. My husband loved the house made ranch and chili! Great experience here!

Super cute place!

My son and I stayed here and were immediately impressed by all the awesome Harry Potter decor. We enjoyed a movie (there are a bunch of dvds) and the sunset. The place is adorable, clean and comfortable. We will stay again.

Harry Potter Perfection!

My daughter and I stayed at the Harry Potter house to celebrate her birthday. She had just finished reading the first few books. The excitement she showed upon entering the house was more than I could have imagined! She had so much fun finding all of the Harry Potter details! Being able to watch the movies was an added bonus. The bed was very comfortable and communication with the owner was superb. Our only slight issue was white fuzz everywhere from the bath towels, possibly because they were new. Maybe I missed it, but I didn’t see any coffee, even though there was a coffee maker. Had decaf tea available, popcorn, and seasoning if you were going to cook something. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience! I would definitely recommend!

We stayed here to celebrate my Harry Potter loving daughter's birthday. She thought it was so cool! Very clean and cozy. Communication with host was quick and easy - very responsive to whatever we needed. We didn't take advantage of the drive-in movies (we watched Harry Potter in the house instead), but it's a cool place.

Movie and room experience

Small drive in movie theater was initial draw to this property. I did have a challenge viewing two of the three tiny home properties so settled on the one I could see, Harry Potter themed home. It was clean, nice and very well appointed for the size of the space having nearly everything we needed. I would have like better soap although there were excellent shampoo and conditioner options. Overall, my gf and I had a very pleasant experience checking in late afternoon, watching the movie, ordering food and spending the night. Weather was beautiful and it’s a nice rural setting.

Magical Getaway

Perfect night away from kids. Great location just far enough from home to feel like a break :) Drive in is really nice, food great and the Harry Potter theme super cool.
