“This place is incredible. Dennis and Doris are such sweet hosts and made us feel so comfortable. The loft is exceptionally clean and decorated. Very comfortable and they have thought of everything you could possibly need. They have anything you need to cook and the milk and eggs were a special touch! You do not hear any noise from the barn below. Morning coffee outside was so relaxing. There are more things to do in the Lexington area than we expected. Hike to Natural Bridge, a nice downtown...

“Staying in this beautiful historic home was like staying with dear friends. It’s a lovely house in a great neighborhood. It was clean and inviting. Virgil was helpful and quick to respond to our questions. The beds were so comfortable that I slept as well as I do at home. We walked to great restaurants and all around the neighborhood and local park. We loved the front porch! We would definitely stay here again.”

“Loved the location and views. Owner Kirk was great with communications and answers to my questions. Place was very nice and most of what owner described was accurate. I loved having breakfast food available- nice extra touch. Only downside was a lot of flies who invaded the place- especially near the breakfast area. Also 2 noisy dogs- especially the smaller, noisier dog- and people (and dogs) walking the floors above at 4:45 am the night we arrived were a bit much to handle. Other than that it...

“We enjoyed our quiet weekend in the Rivermont neighborhood. The apartment was tastefully decorated in a cool vintage theme. Although a basement apartment it had plenty of natural light. Great off street parking for one car, full size fridge, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We would stay again!”

“It was very nice, clean, private and well stocked.. our only complaint would be not having any covering’s over the windows making it somewhat eerie feeling. The bedrooms did have blinds ( thank goodness) .. there were a lot of other windows, the doors , living room, kitchen windows where anyone could look in.. other than that it was a great place!”

“We had a lovely stay at the “Writer’s Cabin!” It is small but so cozy and perfect for two. We had rain at first but when the skies cleared we went for a walk and explored the Chessie Trail. A lovely walk along the river. Hosts are very gracious. Easy check in and check out.”

“This cabin is lovely, cozy and very well appointed. The back deck and early spring views of the Maury river were beautiful and relaxing too. Great location close to Lexington but still felt like a real escape. Our host was accessible, friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely be coming back!”
