“Great place to stay! Steps away from the beach. Loved the pool with kids pool being a bonus. Having a wide selection of TV channels was great. Watched some Olympics. Plenty of dining options available with the night market being our favorite choice. The bus stop to Georgetown and other attractions right in front. Would recommend!”

“We stayed at the golden sands by shangri-la in penang 5th to 8th of july. We had a beach /pool facing room which i would strongly recommend. Rooms are spacious and clean, buffet breakfast had a wide variety of food, plenty of pool activities and areas of entertainment for kids,I would highly recommend this hotel to any type of visitor ”

“The villa is situated within short driving distance from Gurney Drive and Batu Ferringhi, which was great. The villa is clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The management called before arrival to ascertain time of arrival, which was kind of nice. Unfortunately, the small door next to the gate cannot be locked or latched.
