Check-in was easy and the host was communicative. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and cooking accessories. The group of 5 women LOVED the seating space, which fit everyone comfortably. We sat on the dock and enjoyed the water view, then moved to the fire pit once the chill set it. We were disappointed in the overall cleanliness of the space. I reached out to the host, who apologized for the mess we walked into. We understand that it was the off season (early November) and probably hadn't had someone in there since the end of summer, but there were spiderwebs throughout the house in the corners, fan blades, and under the tables. The countertops had also not been wiped cleaned, and there were crumbs and sticky residue on the countertops; the bathroom sinks and tubs hadn't been wiped out of hair. While the sheets were clean and provided in bags for each bedroom, the mattress pads and pillow case covers don't appear to have been washed in some time. We would love to return to this house as the setup and layout is great for large groups; however, the cleanliness is a lot to be desired.
