We loved the house and we definitely want to stay again. Was a little weird to not have tvs in the bedrooms and couldnt figure out the fireplace. Everything else was wonderful.

The dishwasher detergent compartment never opened during the wash cycle. The coffee pot was inconsistent in how many cups it actually made. There are no cleats for docking a boat, but you can dock on the far side and tie up to the posts. Brand new kayaks were awesome. Caught a couple fish off the dock. Nice, deep water for parking a boat. Front storm door could use some WD-40. No ice maker. Vizio TV only allows Amazon Prime Video or Netflix streaming (not able to download Hulu, Disney, Apple, etc onto TV).

Annual Family Lake Vacation

We found the house to be very clean and “somewhat” well equipped. There was no can opener which presented a problem and no glass casseroles so we were unable to cook anything in the microwave. The bottom rack of the dishwasher was broken upon arrival. We called about that to no avail. The basement shower head broke completely off the first day we tried to use it and someone did come to look at it after we called; said he needed a part to fix it and never returned. We did notice in The reviews that someone that rented in June had the same problem so it’s obviously been broken since then. The house was comfortable for our large family. The only bed that was truly uncomfortable was the queen in the back bedroom. Dock was great. We did call ahead and ask how many refrigerators there were because we try to bring as much food as we can initially. We were told by “your team” that there was only one so we packed accordingly only to find upon arrival that there were 3! I don’t think your team actually knows your properties very well. We were told to use the community boat ramp and given the code to use it by your team only to find out when we got there that we also needed a card to access it. Again….you don’t know your properties. Our family had fun in spite of the problems. Would we rent again? No

Dissatisfied

The grads was overgrown wasnt cut until 5 day being there. Didnt have access to boat lift or boat ramp for that matter. Shower head broke. Breaker blew was out of power for a day vacassa kept telling me to look for the breaker box which was in a locked room. Dryer wasnt working had to have someone fix it for me...it was so clogged with lint. They sent someone out a day later after it was fixed. So many things wrong we left early. Wont book again.

Excellent lakefront home

The home was very clean, bathrooms are modern, beds were comfortable and location is superb - 9 min to Lake Anna Winery. Loved having coffee or wine on the deck by the water.

House well equipped. Well maintained. Some upgrades in the bathrooms. Perfect.

Great experience. Easy check in & out. House was exactly what we needed. Kitchen was clean and well equipped. Adding a new fire pit and the house would be perfect.

So much fun!

The location of this house was amazing, right in the water with so much room to run around before you get to the water. The doc was amazing and had such a beautiful view. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and so relaxing. The house was great and equipped with everything we may have needed. The rooms were spacious and again had a great view of the lake. Internet connection was great, especially since our 2 year old loves watching her favorite show on there and it made it easier for her monitor to connect to WiFi. The only downside were the bathtubs. They were all clogged and every time you went to go shower we would just be sitting in a puddle.

Great stay

Just as advertised. Little things that made packing easier-hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, trash bags, linens on beds, bath towels included. They even had soap, shampoo and conditioner. It was nice little touches like that that put it over the top. Great set up for family time and lake time. One thing that I’ve noticed with all our house rentals is the poor condition of cook ware. We made due but it would be nice if they invest in a cheap new set every season. Loved it. Will be back.

Wonderful place but cleaners were poor and shower and sinks did not drain

We had a great time as a family, were able to laugh about the hound dog next door, the floats and Kyacks were wonderful, beds comfortable and house nicely decorated. Main couch badly stained and cleaning job in showers and bathroom floors left lots of hair. Found lots of stuff, including a dog bone under the couch and lots of dog hairs on the top sheet from the comforters. The shower drains and bathroom sink drains were clogged. If it was not for these issues I would have given it 5 stars.

Great property, would definitely stay again!

This is a lovely home that has a bunch of nice amenities with an open concept main level, big bedrooms and a beautiful view. The location is nice and quiet and everything was as described or better. Would definitely stay here again!

Good time with family

Loved being directly on the lake and the view from the house. Many rooms and space for our family of ten. House could use a little updating and the downstairs room was a little chilly as compared to the upstairs. But we had a great time and appreciated the house and the opportunity to get away.

Beautiful view

Overall great location, great house. We enjoyed a lovely fall weekend--hiking at Lake Anna state park, kayaking at the property, and enjoying a fire by the lake. We can't wait to come back during warmer weather--so much potential for a summer weekend. While the pictures are generally accurate, the property could use with some sprucing and tidying up inside and out-beyond needed a mow and raking the fall leaves.

Perfect place

The house was beautiful and looked just like the pictures. The rooms were large and the beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean and reminded me of a hotel. The land was amazing. Huge yard, right on the water, and the dock was perfect. I had my three kids with me and they enjoyed everything. There was a wii and lots of games and movies. On our walks around the neighborhood we ran into several neighbors and everyone was extremely friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Poorly Maintained Property

The location is very nice, but the property appearance and condition was nothing like the "glamour shot" pictures. The problem with this VACASA (NOT owner ) managed property was an overall lack of attention to basic appearance and functionality. The storm door was broken, 6" door bell wire protruding from main entrance, broken board on entrance ramp, old ice frozen to the bottom of the freezer, lawn not mowed, property not landscaped, bushed overgrowing and obstructing outside living areas, trash on back deck, fire pit, and boat dock, fire pit not cleaned from previous tenant, outside furniture randomly dispersed throughout the property, horseshoe pits missing horseshoe and overgrown with weeds, the boat dock equipment room was a complete mess with bags of trash and water sports gear strewn all over the place, televisions did not have correct remotes (easily resolved by a quick visit from cable provider) which led to VACASA "Property Manager" to concoct a byzantine TV process for upstairs ad downstairs. Not what I expect for the price paid. Contacted VACASA PM about most of the above and he came to the property and proudly announced he "fixed the dishwasher".....which I didn't even know was broken.....but attended to nothing else and refused to respond to my texts.

Great location poorly maintained

The location and boathouse were perfect! We loved the fire pit and lake front location. Outside there were many cobwebs and large bugs near the sliding glass doors. Some even made their way inside. None of the Bathroom sinks drained which was one of our biggest complaints. The kitchen utensils and some bedding were dirty. The house also needs a wire grill brush. TV remote needs batteries. Parental controls could not be removed from TV settings.

Perfect Lake House

House is great for a group of friends or family looking to enjoy the lake! Plenty of space and amenities. Boat house is well stocked, nice quiet part of the lake. Property manager was not very responsive regarding early checkin or late checkout but no issues while we were there. Would definitely stay again!

Winter Weekend

We were there for a winter weekend for a family funeral. Place is lovely with a comfortable family room. Unfortunately, we were not there but to sleep. However, all the adults indicated the beds were super comfortable.

Thanksgiving weekend

Wonderful open floor plan fostered some great family time for our Thanksgiving weekend. Beautiful views, quiet peaceful neighborhood. Clean house, hot water, and comfy beds. Would definitely stay again.

Great for multiple families!

Great house to get away on Lake Anna. Nice house, very spacious, rooms are large and everything is in good condition. No TV's in the bedrooms which was a little disappointing but you're not there to watch TV right? Boat dock is great. Horseshoes and cornhole out back are awesome. Pretty much everything you need right here. We will definitely go back and would highly recommend.
