Trascorri una notte, un fine settimana o una settimana in una delle proprietà più singolari di tutti i Finger Lakes. Clifftop è un paradiso di 17 acri, con indimenticabili Sunset, Seneca Lake e vista sul villaggio. Arroccato su una scogliera e in alto sopra il lago, goditi il tuo complesso privato, a solo 1 miglio dal centro di Watkins Glen, alle porte della strada del vino del Lago Seneca orientale. Fai un'escursione lungo migliaia di piedi di sentieri sulla scogliera, quindi scendi in una magnifica gola con diverse cascate, fiancheggiata da cicuta, pervinca e formazioni di pietra. Prendi un'ora o un giorno; rilassarsi in questo paradiso naturale privato. Fai un'escursione fino ai numerosi sentieri naturali in cima alla scogliera e ammira il balsamo delle api, il baldacchino ombreggiato e le visite giornaliere delle aquile calve e del falco pescatore che popolano la nostra zona. O "rimani fermo". Rilassati sul ponte o sul prato direttamente davanti alla tua stanza. Prendi il sole, fai un pisolino o semplicemente goditi le barche a vela, le scogliere occidentali e il villaggio sottostante. The Rookery, il nostro lodge di cicuta di livello superiore, dispone di 2 camere da letto matrimoniali (una è una suite) ognuna con bagno di lusso, tra cui vasca da 6 'e doccia. La cucina completa e la sala d'ingresso offrono molto spazio per i gomiti, e 3 porte finestre conducono al ponte 50 'x 9', situato a 200 'sopra il lago, sotto. La grande cucina ha contatori di quarzo, tutti i nuovi elettrodomestici, incantevoli pavimenti in legno di acero. Grande camino in vetro. We were traveling with friends for a long weekend in wine country. The house is near Watkins Glen and many wineries, breweries, and restaurants. The house was clean and beautiful. Both bedrooms had king beds and en suites. Every morning and evening we sat on the deck overlooking Seneca Lake. Cindy, our host, was gracious and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

This is the first time a host was there on the property to check us in. She graciously provided 2 bottles of wine and cards for complimentary tastings. Kitchen was nicely furnished although we did not cook.

Relax & Enjoy the View

This Clifftop, beautiful, clean home with a beautiful view, with sunsets, sits on a clifftop overlooking Lake Senaca. The home is a perfect location to easily drive to the numerous wineries around the lake as well as downtown Watkins Glen. Anything you may want or need at this home is already provided. Hands on owners Cindy & Ed are more than willing to help you in any way. They even surprised us with a nice welcome gift. I can honestly say we were not disappointed in any way. We would definitely not hesitate to come back.

What more can I say about this house or these hosts? This is our EIGHTH time staying here. Three of those were for more than a week. That should tell you pretty much everything. Wonderful home. Wonderful view. Even more wonderful people.

A Wonderful Weekend

Cindy & Ed are the nicest hosts you could hope to run into. It's rare to find people so friendly and generous. The recommendations were on point and we really enjoyed the area. Now to the important part - the house! Cindy and Ed made sure the house had everything you could possibly need. The space was even larger than I imagined from the pics. Very open with two large bedrooms with great views. The deck is a highlight, for sure. We saw an assortment of wildlife from the house, including a fawn, bunnies, hummingbirds, a chipmunk & two woodchucks. As city folk it was very impressive. The beds were also extremely comfy (and large!). Everything was fantastic and we highly recommend!

Beautiful Property. Incredible hosts.

It's obvious that these hosts used to work in hospitality. The house is so well designed and furnished, including the kitchen for those who actually want to cook, which I did. Luxury baths, incredible view, birds, waterfalls and walking paths, gas fireplace. Very close to Watkins Glen and Seneca wine trail. There is some noise from cars going by below, but I'm super sensitive to those things and will still be going back because everything else is so amazing! - including the hosts themselves who gave me lots of privacy while being very accessible and friendly too.

I've raved about this home, this property, this view, and especially these hosts many times before. They are, along with so many other factors -- the great location, the always spotless house, the comfortable beds, the privacy of the space, Cindy & Ed's incredible kindness and generosity -- the reason I stay here so often and am always eagerly awaiting my next time. Cindy and Ed’s home was wonderfully comfortable with amazing views of Seneca Lake from the expansive deck. The Finger Lakes area is filled with unspoiled beauty including the 50+acres on which the home is located. Beautiful property, centrally located to all that Watkins Glen and Seneca Lake have to offer. Owners were great to work with, and they have a beautiful locations that offers a respite from the activity in town

Amazing Lake Views

View of the lake is amazing. However, the main road runs down the hill from the unit, so there will be traffic noise all the time. The unpaved driveway to the unit could be challenging for some vehicles. The unit is well appointed, well stocked kitchen, nice bathrooms and a comfortable bed. The couches were uncomfortable and could be updated. The owners live below the unit. Cindy and Ed were very friendly and even left some tasty local craft beer in celebration of our anniversary! We loved the area and will be back!

A slice of heaven on earth!

From the first contact with Cindy, I could tell we would enjoy our stay and she would be an amazing host! I was surprising my partner with a getaway for his birthday and had never been to the Finger Lakes. Cindy and Ed have a very cozy and comfortable home with everything you may need for enjoying a relaxing trip. It gives a french cottage vibe and was very clean and very “chicly” appointed. She had supplied us with a bottle of Riesling from one of the local wineries and Starbucks pods for the Keurig. There are two primary suites with very nice en-suite baths. (Both have deep soaker tubs and showers) both Cindy and her husband Ed were very respectful and responsive to any needs we had. The only thing I found issue with is that the online pics of the place don’t even come close to doing it justice. But that is probably a good thing for us, because I was able to book it with short notice😜. It was so conveniently located to the village of Watkins Glen, with the state park only being few miles away. And the drive from one end of Lake Seneca to the other was breathtakingly beautiful and only 45 mins. The wineries were amazing and the food in the area was fantastic. But at the end of the day, the views from both bedrooms and the massive deck were just amazing. I will definitely be returning and would love to see the fall foliage. Also, Cindy is very knowledgeable about the area and assisted me in dining selections/recommendations as well as helped me find a spa at Belhurst. ❤️ .

Amazing property with views

The property is beautiful and everything you needed was supplied. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and very clean. The view was amazing. I would caution the driveway is very steep and rocky, and the turn in was difficult. My only complaint was that it is not a private retreat, the owners stay in the garage and in the basement in the evenings, the spotlight comes on so enjoying that back deck is not private. There is also construction as a new house is being built. Otherwise, we were not bothered by the owners at all But it is misleading.

Amazing Lake Views

Cindy and Ed were great host. The house and location were great. Close to activities and amazing views of Lake Seneca. Highly recommend visiting the Watkins Glen State Park which has many beautiful waterfalls and views of the gorge. We would definitely visit again.

Always Feels Like Home

The 5th time’s the charm — just like the first four. We’ve stayed at this property more than any other rental, for many reasons: the kind, generous, incredibly thoughtful hosts, Cindy and Ed; the quiet, private location; the incredible views of Seneca Lake from the whole-house-length deck; a layout with two master suites that doesn’t waste an inch and gives you everything you need in a vacation home. Can’t recommend this house, or these lovely hosts, highly enough.

Gorgeous lake view from very private property on mountainside. Well-furnished, clean, recently-updated house unit with some thoughtful gifts from hosts. Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating of our shifting check-in time, and supplied many extras. Will absolutely ask them about staying here the next time we visit the Glen, and would recommend their property to family and friends.
