“Hidden little treasure, The little apartment was ideal, the microbrewery was a local sensation, hung out there the following morning prior to our ferry departure. The host was very open to conversation and helpful. Would highly recommend. We will stay again if in the area!”

“This property was very clean, luxuriously comfortable (great beds), and located on a lovely waterfront. The kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room had everything we could need. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck watching shore birds and the boats. The hosts communicated well and made check in and check out easy. Would definitely stay here again if we got the chance to come back to Whidbey Island.”

“The property was really nice. It was very clean and fit our needs perfectly. It had everything we could possibly need. The only issue we had, which was very small, is that we didn't know that it had a lower apartment, that was also rented out. I don't recall seeing this when reviewing the property details, initially. Apparently, our dog was a little noisy on the first night and there was a complaint called into the host. Once we knew they were there, we tried to limit any noise for the rest...

The neighbors do take quiet time very seriously so keep that in mind if you have kids because you will be reminded even when you don’t think you’re being loud. But the sunsets over the sound are breathtaking. I’m only home one day and I hate life without that espresso machine. They even have all the creamer flavors and...

“We enjoyed an extended stay at Cowboy Cabin. It was great being out in a rural area, and we especially enjoyed watching hawks, swans, and other birds in the marsh across the street. The on-site staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Just know that this is an older building with dents and bruises, and the heating system could use a little attention. I'll bet kids would enjoy the cowboy decor and plenty of room to play in the large living room.”

“Lovely property with great access to the beach flats (staircase). Great responsive host. Disappointed the clothes washer wasn’t available but found a great drop off laundromat close by.Great neighborhood near to center of town. Amazing local shop mart with amazing conveniences two blocks away. Quiet and Beautiful area of B’ham. Definitely this property is top of my local list ! Our dog Lola had a blast !”

“The check-in process was miserable. The mgmt co wouldn't give us access till we jumped thru all kinds of hoops that weren't required till the last minute. The yard and the walkway were full of sand. No screens in the sliders, so couldn't leave them open with pets. The deck is in bad need of stain. The coffee pot had a half inch of dried coffee in the bottom. The rugs and furniture were old, scratched, and stained. The floor is soft and slanted in several places. The fridge barely gets cold....

“The house offered gorgeous views of the Sound (and Whidbey Island across the way). Very private, very quiet, super peaceful. We would come back again for sure.”
