A Cozy, quiet and most perfect cottage beautifully located on a waterfront cove.

The Harrison Lake House is a quiet, quaint and cozy little get away for two or more located on a channel leading into, the queen jewel, Lake LBJ. The cottage sits on a beautiful sprawling yard with many shade trees perfect for relaxing in a hammock, playing corn hole, croquet or just sitting on the rock patio at the water's edge enjoying a fire. Kayaks and adult life jackets are also provided. Cozy up to a large stone fireplace in the living room which opens up into the perfect kitchen. The remodeled two bedroom, one bath is perfect and oh so shabby chic. My two favorite spots are the adjoining sunroom with two twin beds and a beautiful view. Perfect for sipping that morning cup of joe or just taking a late afternoon nap. The screened in front porch is perfect for relaxing and watching it rain. A stay at the Harrison Lake House would not be complete without spending some time on beautiful lake LBJ. Boat and jet ski rentals are a phone call away and they'll deliver if needed. A boat launch is available with no extra cost and is within walking distance from the cottage. Hiking trails, Inks Lake State Park, Longhorn Cavern State Park, Camp Longhorn, Log Country Cove, Wake Point, Boat Town Burger Bar, Hoover's Valley Cafe and several wineries are a stones throw away. So much to do and see will most definitely require a repeat visit for sure!

Cozy cottage feel

Overall, I give it a high rating. Just be aware that there is no microwave. They make up for that by having an oven toaster and a stove. Also, no smart TV; TV only had 4 channels. ashdevisthatsupcompresses

Enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Enjoyed the quiet. Watched squirrels and ducks from back porch. The morning was filled with geese honking, birds singing,and doves cooingWonderful 3 days. Sad its over!

Nice lil place where you see fireflies and cranes flying overhead. Clean, comfy and in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. You are about 10 minutes from Kingsland and 20 from Burnet.Had a nice lil getaway. Great communication also.

Cozy, quiet gem in the heart of hill country

Very cute little cottage with the perfect screened-in porch for morning coffee. We enjoyed watching hummingbirds, heron, deer and fireflies with all the comforts of home in between visits to nearby parks and attractions. Great aesthetic throughout and very much appreciated the magazines, books, games, and DVDs on hand for quiet moments.

Short trip but good stay

We only stayed one night since we were doing a race in the area the next day. Would love to come again for a longer weekend to enjoy the activities in the area. Great place, clean and inviting.

PERFECT cottage for R&R!!

We had a wonderful visit at this lovely cottage. Enjoyed the outdoors - sipping coffee on the deck while listening to birds, kayaking down the canal, lounging in the sunroom, and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. Would highly recommend for a quiet, relaxing getaway!!
