Kayak, swim, and fish in the backyard of your two-bedroom waterfront home on Lake Buchanan! The big 3/4-acre lot is surrounded by water on three sides.

This charming 1930s cottage was moved from west Austin and has been lovingly restored. Interior highlights include a festive lake-themed décor and wood floors, as well as a large collection of board games.

The new deck features amazing views of the lake. Sway peacefully in the hammock by the water. Other perks include three kayaks and an outdoor shower. The Burnet County Park Public Boat Ramp is within a 2-minute drive.

LIVING AREA

A smart TV in the living area lets you stream shows and movies from your favorite digital service. A sofa bed and two armchairs provide comfy seating.

KITCHEN & DINING

Prepare tasty meals in the kitchen, appointed with an array of helpful gadgets. As dinner simmers, perch at the kitchen bar for four.

When you’re ready to eat, gather around the table for six in the dining area.

BED & BATH

Sleep soundly in the min bedroom, where you’ll also find a TV, a desk, and direct access to the deck.

The second bedroom is furnished with three twin-size beds, one of which includes a twin trundle.

A half bath with direct access to the outdoor shower provides additional convenience.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Launch a kayak or cast a fishing line from the banks of Lake Buchanan in your backyard. The grassy yard provides space to play.

Newly constructed, the deck offers Adirondack chairs, and a dining table for four. Sway peacefully in the waterside hammock. You'll find an outdoor shower on the side of the home.

Extra perks include complimentary Wi-Fi, and a washer/dryer. Three kayaks, life jackets, oars and are also supplied.

Access to the front door is via six exterior steps.

THE LOCATION

Boat owners will appreciate being just a 2-minute drive from the Burnet County Park Public Boat Ramp.

Spider Mountain Bike Park (4 miles) features lift-serviced mountain biking.

Drought conditions will affect the water levels for this property so please know that the pictures in the listing may not reflect the true level of water during your stay. We are not able to give refunds or cancellations due to low water levels.
Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.


Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
