My 8 grandkids and I look forward to it every year. The house is great, secluded and perfect for us. Plenty of room and comfy beds. Heaven on Earth!

I just can't say enough things about how great this property is! Anything you might wonder about, the answer would be "It's perfect". Also, sometimes lacking at other places, the management here makes you feel like you have known them forever -very friendly and helpful! Already making plans to go back!

The cabin is very well appointed with everything you would need. The staff at Log Country Cove is always a pleasure to work with. They are very accommodating.

The location, although a little remote from all the action down by the office, was perfect for our outdoorsy - nature loving family. Then pool was perfect, the kitchen was adequately furnished. The management responded quickly when a handle on one of the ovens came off on one side. I would heartily recommend it.

The bed we used in the downstairs master was very comfy, the kitchen very accommodating and we enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. We had some issues with the outside Spa, keeping it warm and running with the jets. After the second night of trying it, we just got in without running the jets and it was nice an warm and relaxing.The reclining couches are super nice too. We didn't get a chance to use other amenities, but everything appeared to be in good working order.

Two problems we encountered was the TV had no instructions and we rented a video to watch that we struggled with getting to work. The controls on the hot tub were also sensitive but they did warn about that - you had to wait between attempts to start it up. The property location is right in the middle of everything you would want from Austin to San Antonio to Fredericksburg.

We have stayed several times at a different house but it was not available but may have enjoyed this one even more! It is farther from playground and water but we rented a golf cart so kids enjoyed that so not a problem. It is also awesome to be have your own hot tub and pool and then go rent a boat or jet skis for a few hours if you want. However the boat we rented was in pretty bad shape as far as the seats and cushions go. We had trouble heating the hot tub the first night but they came and replaced a senser next morning and got it up and running. Management staff extremely friendly and helpful. Wish it had a third king bed instead of queen. Kids all slept in room with the twin beds and worked out great. Really nice to have a second refrigerator. Some batteries for the electric recliners were missing. There was a high chair which was really helpful so we didn’t need to bring one. All doors to pool area have real high locks so you don’t have to worry about kids going out.

Some of the items that should have been there (like dishwasher soap, plenty of silverware for guests) were not. We did not realize that management would supply these for us until the last day. The upstairs bathrooms were not real clean-floors look dirty, as was the bathmat in one bathroom. Some cobwebs and dust. The management of Log Country Cove are wonderful. They responded quickly when asked about needs.
