“Great area, near beach, dog friendly but the villa desperately needs a new bathroom! The holiday park is more tilted to caravan and camping .. the amenities for them seen pretty good. I recommend booking direct to the park as their fees are WAY lower that what we paid through Expedia . We basically got ripped off and paid hundreds more even with using our points discount which was over $250 Would I stay here again, probably not . Villas need a lot of updating .”

“For those who needs a full kitchen n washing machine, this is the place. Minutes away from Coles n Woolworths and Dan Murphy onsite. Plenty of parking and a restaurant that serves full menu for families. The housekeeping is great, they change the towels n clear the bins daily. This is very important if you have to cook. There are a two things that they may wish to improve on. The cooking utensils ie pots n pans needed to be replaced. The frying pan doesn’t sit flat on the hob. One of the pots...

“The resort services are good. Very kind and nice the staff. The apartment, not really new, is efficient and enjoyable even if not fully equipped (kitchenware). Ordinary cleaning was ok, while the heavy cleaning was really disappointed: webs, dust on the window blinds and window glasses.”

“I was a little disappointed with my stay at Southcamp, especially as the many positive reviews were what initially drew me in. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance weren't up to standard expectations. There was sand throughout the shower from a previous guest, some cutlery still had dried food on it, and the curtain was partially off its rail despite requesting it be fixed twice. “Staff were lovely. Room was very noisy with furniture being moved in the room above us. First, occupants scraping chairs on the floor (dining table I presume) then cleaners in the morning moving furniture / beds to clean. No room service to apartments that you pay a hefty rate for. You have to go and pick up your meals yourselves. Wouldn't stay again for the price. Not value for money despite the reputation. ”
