Great location for a beach holiday!

Close to all the amazing places that makes Byron so special. Walking distance to restaurants, Main Street and lighthouse. Our family had a great time here x

Great Byron experience

Location is the best part of this accommodation. Beach across the road. Great access to lighthouse and back beach walks. Town 10 min walk. Great balcony frequently used for brekky, arvo drinks and drying washing! Highly recommend for family or small group 👍🏻

Great property for a family

The kitchen and bathroom are both recently renovated and are both very good. But some of the fittings and fixtures in the looking room and bedrooms are just getting a bit tired and could be given an update. Latch oof Sliding door onto balcony was broken, had rusted/worn away. But apart from some updates, its a great place, close to everything and we've already booked for next yeaf!

Great value for money

Second time I’ve stayed in this unit. Still no blind on second bedroom window so room is not dark at night due to outside light shining in. Some cutlery & crockery wasn’t clean 😢. Overall the unit is great, spacious & user friendly. Perfect location. Grateful it has a secure garage. Shower is lovely. Great full size fridge & kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, needs some work though

The location is great, and what you see in the photos is what you get. The place needs some work however such as making sure all power banks work, and replacing the blinds in the bedroom with the bunk beds. There was also an expectation that we had to clean our dishes, however there was no sponge or soap to do so, which was disappointing as it came out of our expense to purchase these. Overall it was a good stay, however wouldn’t return.

Great location

This apartment is in a great location and is very spacious. The lines was clean. There are some issues which would make a stay more comfortable, some amenities in the kitchen like a dishbrush, detergent and cloth for wiping the benches are necessary. The broom had seen better days and was filthy. Curtains on the front window are necessary for privacy at night and to block out the sun. The garage is totally useless, it is impossible to park a normal sized car in it, this creates a dilemma as the grassed area is a tow away zone and parking in the street is limited to 4 hours and costs $5.00 per hour.

Disappointing

Location was great and the bathroom and kitchen looked like they had recently been renovated and were clean. However when we entered the building there was a stale smell in the shared stairway. When we entered the apartment the stale smell was worse. We weren't sure where this was coming from but the lounge suite looked old and may have been the cause. The main bed was also old and the mattress not very comfortable. We stayed one night out of 4 booked and found alternative accommodation for our last three nights, as we couldn't live with the smell.

Great location and very clean and comfortable. A few things need attention but overall very good.

* very clean and tidy unit in a sensational location which is directly opposite the beach and short walk into town. A number of things would have made a massive difference to our stay for the family and possibly future guests: * most modern rentals nowadays have wifi. Unlimited plans are around $70-$90 odd per month and obviously tax deductible for the landlord. Cellular reception with our phones was poor ( through Vodafone and Optus). Given we were there staying in the unit holidaying for 9 days with 2 x teenagers it would have been a great bonus having wifi in the unit. Also watching netflix mirroring from phone using wifi would have been great at night! * no blind on main door out to balcony needs addressing for privacy. Also blind in room with bunk beds was broken. * beds probably need replacing (especially in main bedroom). They are incredibly dated and uncomfortable. Would make a difference having more modern mattresses that are more comfortable (especially for an extended stay). * most doors jammed and wouldn’t shut. Bathroom door needs a lock on it. * parking was an issue. I left my car in the front yard but was in the way of another guest using the next garage. We were in unit 2 which was impossible to get a 4WD into the connecting garage. Also the angle of the garage makes it impossible to use regularly. The challenge was you need to leave your car in the property boundaries as surrounding streets are all paid parking during the day and you risk getting a fine. * the PowerPoint in the bunk room was sparking when attempting to use and couldn’t be used. * the main road directly out the front between the unit and the beach was really noisy and very busy during different times. Hard to be too critical though as that was the benefit of staying right opposite the beach. Just need to close the balcony door during the day as you literally can’t hear people talking or the TV when trucks and motorbikes zoom past. Minor problem though just to be aware of. Other than these few things it was truly located in an awesome spot. Would definitely rent again with these few adjustments. Just feel fixing the suggestions would make the property more appealing.

Fantastic location. The property is a bit tired and could do with some TLC - rotten timber at the bottom of bathroom and toilet doors etc. and the windows could do with cleaning, but totally functional. The rooms are huge.

Great location but poor accomodation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was brilliant, but we were disappointed with the accomodation. It had only the most basic of cleans before we moved in, it smelt, the beds weren’t properly made, kitchen utensils were old & benches needed a wipe.The blinds in the kids rooms were stuck up & we had to fix them to lower them. The aircon was mouldy. It felt really unclean and disappointing. The real estate were brilliant though and worked to find us another properly and we moved with no extra cost. You definitely pay for location here and not anything else! We would not return to this property

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment is very basic. Cleanliness was not up to standard. The whole place had a smell to it similar to a public toilet. There was sand everywhere including in the beds, unsure when the last time the duvet covers were actually washed. The dishes were all grimey and needed to be washed before being used. The range hood was full of oil and stank of fish. There were no blinds or coverings on the glass doors in the living space and the blinds on the windows were broken and unable to be lowered meaning that there was no privacy from the Main Street and the property became quite cold at night and in the morning, not ideal considering we were travelling with a baby. The split system didn’t work at all and the only alternative heaters were a small blow heater which was extremely dusty and smelt of burning so deemed unsafe to use and an old oil heater that swayed it was so unstable and with 3 out of 4 wheels missing from beneath it. The bathroom has no fan and the washing machine is all rusty. The fabric lounge definitely needs a good steam clean or to be replaced, it was disgusting. The agent I dealt with when collecting the keys was extremely rude and aggressive despite having prearranged an early check in. For the price we paid; the accomodation is definitely not worth it. We won’t be booking again.

Good unit

Unit was comfy and spacious. 2nd bedroom needs a window blind. Door to balcony needs a curtain. Little things like a dish brush and sponge were missing. Shower constantly drips. Overall the unit is well priced and located.

Great location

Great apartment right on the beach in Byron bay. Walk out the door, across the road and onto the sand. 10 minute walk into byron bay and 10 minute walk to lighthouse walk. Very difficult to get in front door, lock needs to be changed. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper provided for 4 people for 6 days.
