From the beginning the check out took over 40 minutes. Super disorganized and slow process. Though Luis Fernando did an amazing job and actually made me feel welcomed initially. The non waiter staff were also excellent. Like the reception, cleaning staff, or bellhop. They were the ones that treated everyone exceptionally and welcoming.
For the waiters if you are light complected then you will have a good time and service. God forbid that you have any melanin or you will get discriminated. From getting placed in the back of restaurants to getting accused of breaking the rules just because you want to enjoy the “all inclusive package”.
The “all inclusive package” is so misleading. They have strict limitations on what you can consume or what amenities you can use.
It’s sad to see that the staff discriminates against essentially anyone that looks Hispanic. Just because the prejudice that we can’t afford such perceived luxuries. I expected better this. I’ve been to other resorts and places around Mexico and not once felt that way. I talked to a manager about it and gave me such platitudes with excuses and were dismissive.
Do not recommend. I expected better from this place.
