Dear Anonymous, ( what a shame you are not brave enough to put your name to your review ) I will not lower the tone scoring you out of ten but I will also list the positives and negatives of your stay so that other guests can come to their own judgement. Positives Your dog was nice despite your mothers declared dislike of him. Negatives Daughter made the booking,then changing the basis of that booking to include a dog with your stay which we were happy to accommodate,however we were very unhappy that you left the dog ( a rescue) in our bedroom unattended for nearly 6 hours. You returned for a short time before going out again leaving your dog unattended for another 2 hours. Unacceptable to any accommodation provider and that is coming from a dog owner of 30 years. Nowhere do we advertise kennelling. Complaint from another guest staying with us about your rudeness and quite prepared to put pen to paper. Our menu clearly states we serve either a 2 or 3 course dinner for £36.50 or £42.50 respectively - we do not serve chips at £2.95 on a Saturday night to any guest and never will do - how do you think we pay our chefs, insulting and unreasonable. You returned at 8.45pm, the kitchen had cleaned down but were prepared to cook a proper meal for you, you were offered the choice of two starters and two main courses ( all vegetarian ) but declined all, storming off when your request for 'just chips' was declined. Before complaining about someone else attitude it may be advisable to look at your own, which is far from acceptable, your complaining began even before you walked into the bedroom on check-in.
