Hotel pessimo in tutti gli aspetti
Il peggior hotel per un soggiorno business.
- Wifi pessima in tutti i luoghi dell'hotel e nonostante avessi chiesto e richiesto assistenza, nessuno in 4 giorni è riuscito a risolvere il problema.
- Servizio in camera e assistenza del personale molto lenta in tutte le attività
- Piscina con sciami di mosche e fumo del BBQ nel pomeriggio
- Camera non confortevole a causa del ventilatore rumoroso
- Personale "lento", impreparato e per nulla cortese.
- Zona, non uscite senza taxi
- Servizi a pagamento: minimo 55€ per taxi da aeroporto a hotel. Un furto!

Great Location and beautifull Panorama but...
Great location and beautifull view of the Pyramids. Friendly helpful staff and dezent room size, but air condition wasn't working in my room, WiFi was close to non-existent and not free in our room or at the pool. The food was okay but not the best and no five star quality. The main pool was under construction only the smaller one was available nevertheless the noise and dust of the ongoing construction made the stay at the pool horrible.
Overall I don't believe I paid a good price if I'm honest and did not feel like a five star, more like a 1 star so quite disappointed. .

Exceptional front office manager!!
We did not have a very good start. The room assigned was not what we have booked and the procedure to change room was taking very long. We had been traveling for 12 hours and were extremely tired so was our 22 months girl. Then everything changed once Mr. Hamed got in charge of the situation. He was extremely helpful and very efficient and professional. We were upgraded to even a nicer room and everything was very pleasant. We cannot thank him enough.
We also had meals in the restaurant and it was very good although the service a little slow.

Tornero in hotel di certo.
Piscina fantastica con vista sulle piramidi. Staff gentilissimo. Prezzo decisamente piu che abbordabile per un 5 stelle. Cibo discreto, patate fritte in piscina e frutta perfetti. Dolci buonissimi. Camera spaziosa , Phon professionale in camera, telefono con antennnina che te lo porti dove vuoi. In bagno c'è anche il Bidet come piace a italiani. Asciugamani grandi anche in piscina.

Unico difetto che è lontano dl centro di Cairo con il traffico ci vogliono 2 ore il minimo per vedere gli musei.. le pyramidi sono di fronte ma servono solo 3-4 ore x visitarle.
sconsiglio di viaggiare nel mese di Agosto e Luglio.

Mooi hotel. Groot maar steeds plaats in de restaurants, zwembad e.d. Alle faciliteiten die je wenst.
Zeer vriendelijke mensen.
Uitzicht aan het zwembad op de piramides is zeer fijn.
Goede locatie als uitvalbasis voor excursies te combineren met een dagje zwembad.
Excursies beperkt vanuit het hotel. Best te boeken bij andere operatoren.

Minutes from the Pyramids
Great location across the street from the entrance to the Pyramids, which is also a negative because it attracts large tourist groups. So there is a somewhat loud and chaotic feel in the large lobby area. But it also means breakfast starts at 4 am and that was good for my early morning flight. The room was spacious but basic. No outlets by the bed to charge phones, camera, etc. Only outlets were near the base of the wall. But WiFi was free and pretty good.

Le Meridien Pyramids is a top-notch hotel in Egypt. Compared to other hotels at this price it is head and shoulders above the rest.
There is a heated pool, actually warm enough to swim in during the winter. Other places we have stayed (Porto Sokhna) say they have a heated pool, but it's still too cold to enjoy.
--The on-site restaurants are a little expensive and parking at the hotel is about $10/day.

The property is at an amazing location. The hotel has excellent restaurants, excellent staff, and excellent facilities. If I were to ever go back to Egypt I would stay here.

Pros: The hotel is just in front of the pyramids. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice restaurants, very good breakfast. Fantastic pyramid view from my room.
Cons: My room was dirty (dust everywhere and some hair on the carpet), furniture need maintenance. No hairdryer nor shower cap.

De locatie is fantastisch, vlak naast de pyramides. Het zwembad is mooi en het is fijn dat er ook een groot verwarmd zwembad is.
Wat minder is, is dat het hotel vrij oud is. Dit zie je terug in de staat van vloerbedekking, tegels, etc. De douches lijken wel wisselbaden, continu warm-koud-warm-koud. Het eten in de restaurants is matige kwaliteit, dat zou voor een hotel van deze status veel beter moeten zijn. We zijn dus maar bij het naastgelegen Mariott Mena House gaan eten elke dag; dat hotel is net als het Meridien bezit van Mariott Hotels. Het eten daar was voortreffelijk zowel in het Indiase en Italiaanse restaurant. Verder was in Meridien het personeel erg aardig en behulpzaam.

Perfect location with good and fresh food.
We had a nice stay in perfect location for a visit to the Pyramids. The food at the restaurants was good. No issue regarding un-fresh food even when Sashimi. The pool and pool restaurant was fine with great view of the Pyramids. We will for sure return.

Great location, friendly reception staff even though we arrived in the later part of the evening. Multiple restaurants - great food & service! Fantastic rooms and very comfortable beds! Loved this place!

Really nice hotel but we had to ask for stuff like slippers, toilet paper and hairdryer.. i was expecting a five star hotel to have those ready in advanced and not to ask for them. Overall really good service, nice hotel and spa

Great Hotel & excellent value!
We had a great couple of days in Giza staying at the La Meridian. Views of the pyramids out of our window were great! We did the dinner buffet one night and it was truly good. We are not big on the buffets but took a look at the breakfast buffet and was amazing!
Location was excellent as we were just a short taxi ride to the pyramids.
Value for our stay in USD was very good!
One of the pools was heated and very nice - my son & wife enjoyed!

I paid a premium to get the Pyramid view but in my room to get the view I had to walk to a corner and only from there the pyramids were visible. I requested the staff to get a better view but I was told to come back a few hours later. When I went back, I was told that they are completely full and dont have even one room unoccupied. I did a quick search on Marriott site and was seeing 4 pyramid view room available. On telling the staff of this they told me that it must be very high rate room and I showed them on my cell phone that the rate was 60% less than what I had paid. After that the staff told me that they have rooms classified as pyramid view but are on same side but lower level of my current room. So basically they lied to me several times earlier saying they have No availability and high rates etc.

Don't go there
I don't know where to start:
- 40 minutes to do the check in, and there was no queue!
- 25 minutes for the check out
- the rooms are so dirty!!! It's a disgrace. I took some photos so bad it was.
- we booked a king bed, we had two small beds. They said at check in they would put them together, it didn't happen. I had to go the the reception the second day and ask for it, again!
- every day the room keys are deactivated and you have to go to the reception to reactivate them (the hotel is big, the reception was 3 minutes from our room!).
- breakfast is huge but not really good.
- the concierge is really unfriendly and doesn't understand much of English.
- we paid $160 for the new year Eve gala dinner. That was the worse gala dinner of our life: the buffet was huge but nothing was really good. Not one drink was included, not one!! We never saw the belly dancers that were scheduled, there hasn't been a count down at midnight. Half of the guests had already left by 22:00 as there was no ambiance! What a shame, and a waste of money!!
I stop there but there is so much more...
