Welcome to Casa Artemisia! Cozy 80mq villa on 2 floors, with a small relaxing garden and a large furnished veranda of 45mq, full of shade. Relax, hammock, barbecue, a few steps from the sea.

Not the typical anonymous holiday house, but a home with personality, and many details that denote our care and love.

Just outside Calasetta, a fishing village, Casa Artemisia is a few meters from a cliff from which you will see unforgettable sunsets on the sea, and a few steps from splendid white sand beaches.

Independent house in a complex of 4O, Casa Artemisia has two floors. On the ground floor there is a spacious living and dining room with kitchen that opens onto the shaded veranda and small garden through the large French windows.
Equipped kitchen (no dishwasher), 2 bedrooms, 2 en suite bathrooms with shower and large balconies. TV. Washing machine. Air conditioning in the bedrooms.
There is no WIFI but the telephone connection is good, so the connection will not be a problem even for working.

Your days at Casa Artemisia will probably pass in a peaceful rhythm of exploring different white sandy beaches every day, breathtaking cliffs, swimming in the crystal clear sea, delicious local gastronomy and, perhaps, even browsing among the archaeological mysteries of this territory rich in history.
Or you can choose to laze around in the hammock in the shade of the garden all afternoon and get up to go and watch the moving sunset over the sea just a few steps from the house!

The many restaurants in Calasetta and Sant'Antioco will brighten up your evenings, or you can cook at home enjoying the sunset, perhaps grilling something on the barbecue. In the morning you can buy fish directly from the fisherman or from the boats at the port of S. Antioco.

You will be 100m from the cliff of the sunset viewpoint, 400m from the Sottotorre beach, 15 mins walk or 2 by mins car from the Le Saline beach. And a few kilometers from other wonderful beaches: Cala Sapone, Cala Longa, Spiagga Grande, Maladroixa and Coequaddus.
And let's not forget the impressive cliff of the Nido dei Passeri...

Casa Artemisia is located about 2km from the center of the village, where you can find all types of shops. Calasetta, located on the island of Sant'Antioco, is a fishing village where life flows slowly and quietly, even if in summer everything is more lively. The name comes from its coves with silky sand, and from the tradition of weaving sea silk (byssus), a millenary art still practiced. The island is connected to the mainland by an artificial isthmus and a bridge, so you can get there by car.

Opposite is the characteristic island of San Pietro (Carloforte, named after the king of Sardinia who in 1738 populated it with fishermen of Genoese origin who at the time worked on the island of Tabarka in front of the Tunisian coast). Calasetta is connected to Carloforte daily by numerous ferries (30 minutes of travel).

The nearest airport is Cagliari-Elmas, about 95 km away. From the airport you can reach us by bus, taxi or private minibus. It is also possible to get from the airport to Carbonia by train and then continue to Calasetta by bus or taxi (to be agreed).
Having a car will make your visit much easier.
