“The hotel is nice and the room are comfortable and nicely recently renovated. We had an high floor facing downtown with nice view, however on Friday there is a club called blue in front with super loud music which made it impossible for me to catch sleep. They kept going until 4 am or even later, I recommend another hotel if you want peace and a good night sleep. Also there were not rope or room shoes in our room which is quite unusual for an hotel of this standing. ”

“Clean, on 27th floor, views were amazing, conveniently located, only feedback would be to provide more pillows as only two in second room and very flat, overall would recommend and would stay again ”

“On the 21st floor all we heard was emergency sirens all night. The windows must have been made out of paper mache. The hotel needs to upgrade the windows to a more soundproof design. The starlight patio was closed and only available for special bookings. The patio itself needed some work to bring it up to a maintained standard. No work area in lobby or anywhere.”

“Lobby personnel could be better prepared. Zero help from staff to move cart with the luggage. In one of the room water bottles were never added and we had to ask for them. Lifts were dirty: one day an open tampax was on the floor 😖”

“It was a lively location in Kensington, very walkable with good restaurants nearby. Felt like a neighborhood. Room size was excellent, breakfast was good, and the food at the Oxbow was very good.”

“One thing that stood out during our stay was the number of homeless people roaming around the area. While the hotel location is convenient and close to many places in Calgary, the surrounding environment did not feel very tourist-friendly, especially for visitors who want to relax and enjoy their vacation. The hotel itself has potential, but the overall experience could be improved. The breakfast was very basic and felt quite dry, which was disappointing considering the price paid for the stay....
