Hotel vicino a Olympic Plaza - Calgary

“Positives: clean setting, comfortable bed; good shower/bathroom; generally very cheerful and welcoming staff. Negative: inadequate sound-proofing; uneven responsiveness by under trained staff when dealing with issues. In specific, I contacted the front desk in the evening after arriving on Saturday afternoon to inform them of extremely rowdy neighbours who were persistently treating the hallway as a loud bar. “The hotel is nice and the room are comfortable and nicely recently renovated. We had an high floor facing downtown with nice view, however on Friday there is a club called blue in front with super loud music which made it impossible for me to catch sleep. They kept going until 4 am or even later, I recommend another hotel if you want peace and a good night sleep. Also there were not rope or room shoes in our room which is quite unusual for an hotel of this standing. ”
