Basement suite was quiet and very well maintained. Host was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Surroundings were very agreeable with beautiful garden and fountain to go relax and enjoy. Coffee/tea were set-up for guests and water provided.

Honestly, ZERO negatives. David and Hermie genuinely love people and are incredibly hospitable. If you’re looking for a ‘Home away from Home’ look no further, this is it, you’ve come to the right place. I can’t say enough good about David and Hermie. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with them. The yard and accommodations were exceptionally clean, tidy, and quiet. They live in a great neighbourhood as well. I went for an hour walk by myself and felt totally safe the entire time. It’s a beautiful community. I saw children playing in the streets and families spending time together outside. I would return without hesitation.

Highly recommend!

Gracious hosts! Clean and very comfortable suite about 1/2 hour away from downtown Calgary. The gardens are beautiful and walking trail with beach nearby.Highly recommend!

Great place to stay, with great hosts

Dave and Hermie are great hosts, the place is immaculate, and definitely provides that “home away from home” feeling! Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Calgary area

Quiet and homey

Check in was easy, the owners are very kind and helpful. The unit is very comfortable and the location is very convenient. The backyard is the best part of the place its like being in a Greek resort. Overall the stay was great.

We thought we were renting a 2 bedroom suite that was private from the rest of the house. We discovered that there was no separate entrance to the suite and that they charge extra for the second bedroom. This meant that the second room was locked, so I ended up sleeping on the couch for part of the night. Otherwise, the suite was very comfortable and the hosts friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at Dave's home. They were available at all times and super helpful to ensure that our stay was comfortable. The location near the lake gives this home a great feel and we have nothing but great memories of our stay here.The home was maintained in immaculate condition and beds and furnishings were super comfortable. We checked in late due to travel delays and Dave was still waiting to meet us and show us the place and we had wonderful conversations throughout our stay.Will definitely consider going back if the chance arises and perhaps stay longer.

Lovely, comfortable space in hosts’ home

This home is absolutely beautiful inside and outside. The location was perfect for heading to Calgary for the Stampede. The bed and living room furniture were very comfortable.. Everything was clean and well maintained. The hosts are lovely people who make staying in their home a real privilege.

Lovely

Beautiful house, comfy beds, good location, great space and the hosts were amazing. I was a little hesitant to go somewhere that was a shared space, but we had complete privacy, and yet they still attended to our every need. Would highly recommend.
