“What a great place to stay. Sadly we were in town for a funeral and just needed a quiet, relaxed, comfortable place for a few nights. While the buildings and rooms are a bit dated, Roman Spa staff were friendly and helpful, could walk to everything in town from the hotel, had amazing foot massages at the spa, pools were clean and heated, room was clean as can be with a kitchen that had everything needed to cook or to store leftovers from restaurants. The grounds were lovely and well maintained....

“It is an older hotel built in 1919. So it is small and quaint and certainly not like modern hotels. For example, no elevator to second floor. But is centrally located in the middle of town, has outdoor movies in the bar next door, and has a jacuzzi and a pool with warm mineral water. Very relaxing and nice. Staff is very friendly, nice, and helpful. ”

“I would definitely stay here again. The continental breakfast was full of fresh fruit, pastries and yogurt and literally waiting at your door first thing in the morning. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room faced a busy street but there were no issues with traffic noises at all. Lots of great restaurants, cafes and shops within walking distance. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Please check them out.”
