Lonely Planet ha nominato questa zona la seconda migliore regione del mondo da visitare nel 2019. Gli sport invernali a bizzeffe e così vicino a tonnellate di stazioni sciistiche, tra cui Holiday Mountain, Villa Roma, Elk Mountain e Wyndham. Risparmia denaro: soggiorna qui nella nostra cabina per gli ospiti di 2 piani con 2 BR suite casual ma lussuosa. Esplora e rilassati in una campagna infinita, mangia in ristoranti favolosi, goditi l'arte. Ogni dettaglio per la vostra pace, comfort e felicità è stato curato: dalle 2 suite BR completamente arredate e dal soffitto della cattedrale LR - tutte con mobili in legno antico e mobili e modanature personalizzati, lucernari, vasca idromassaggio / doccia per 2 persone in ciascuna suite, riscaldamento geotermico / acqua calda, lavastoviglie, due ingressi separati, patio comune per gli ospiti, parcheggio gratuito, energia elettrica per veicoli (110v) e caricabatterie Tesla ($ 15 aggiuntivi).     Non vorrai restare dentro! Vivi un'escursione sulla nostra riserva naturale privata di 183 acri situata sul fianco di una montagna, esplorando tre corsi d'acqua, prati dorati e una foresta privata serena. Vai a pescare la trota nella vicina Roscoe, NY, la "capitale mondiale della pesca alla trota". O fai un'escursione intorno al vicino Crystal Lake, o in molte riserve e foreste statali vicine. Fai un giro nella fattoria e nella produzione di formaggio dall'altra parte della strada. Visita e partecipa a concerti di livello mondiale presso il Bethel Woods Center for the Performing Arts, a pochi minuti di distanza. Goditi gli sport invernali e le attività ricreative in diversi resort vicini, lo sci di fondo e lo slittino e la cucina di classe mondiale in numerosi bar e ristoranti nelle vicinanze. Questa premiata fattoria è stata completamente rinnovata e riportata alla sua grazia originaria di campagna, e sta aspettando il tuo arrivo. Our Valentine’s Weekend

Our Valentine’s weekend getaway was great :). The area and guest house is beautiful, we visited some cool restaurants. The host Dr. Norris was very helpful, hospitable, and friendly. The host made sure our stay was comfortable and was flexible with our needs. Great place!!! Thank you!! We hope to visit again.

Great experience on the farm!

Clean and cozy property. Beautiful property and great communication! Hosts have a great information folder that was very helpful and their caretaker, Don, is a delightful and friendly human! 20min (or less) drive from Bethel Woods performance center so was a perfect stay for us! Thank you so much!

Callicoon Center

We were in town to visit relatives just a few miles away. My group of 4 adults shared this space. The house was adequate for our needs. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. My only negative was that the living room space was small and we had to gather in a bedroom to watch TV. We will definitely return to this home.

Family Visit Callicoon NY

My wife and I stayed at the cozy farm guest house 1&2 for two nights. The home is located in a private and quiet neighborhood. The property was clean and had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. Communication with the host was extremely easy. They responded quickly to my messages. There is a bedroom and full bath upstairs and on the ground floor, which made it easy when getting ready in the morning. The living room and kitchen area was very comfortable. We will definitely try to stay here the next time we are visiting family in the area. Highly recommend.

Simply fabulous

My husband and I had the most wonderful weekend at Dr. Norris’ place. It’s a beautiful cabin maintained impeccably. There are fun board games and an amazing collection of books. The property around is gorgeous and ideal for hiking. I highly recommend it!

Peaceful Cozy Cabin Stay

Despite the sub zero temperatures, my family of four thoroughly enjoyed this warm, cozy, eclectic cabin in a stunning location of Sullivan County. The owner is a communicative and accommodating host, even providing some snacks and beverages upon arrival. The description and pictures are accurate. The beds are comfortable, including the sofa bed and the floors are warm. The caretaker came twice to shovel and put down salt, which was greatly appreciated. The airplay surround sound was an added bonus for our evenings of playing Cribbage, Yahtzee, and cards. We look forward to coming back when it’s warmer to explore and hike this beautiful property.

Great place, great host!

A perfect place for my friend and I ... 2 master bedroom suites, each uniquely decorated in fun and thoughtful ways with lots of attention to details, down to tile choices, lighting, and even book selections to match the themes. The whole place was spotless, everything worked exactly as expected. The property is vast, beautiful, and available to all guests, an especially wonderful feature during a pandemic! Dr. Norris is the ultimate host. He was very responsive to all of my (many) questions during the reservation process and throughout the time leading up to our stay. I never had to wait even an hour to hear back from him, always with a thoughtful and thorough response. During our stay we were warmly greeted, granted total privacy, and yet he was always completely accessible should we need anything. We were even treated to freshly made, warm blueberry muffins! It doesn't get much better than that :). Not only would I stay here again, but I fully expect that I will ... and I'm already looking forward to it!

Callicoon guesthouse 1 + 2

It was a very quaint bunk house. It was small and cute. But there was a lot to do. It’s right on the side of a hill with a beautiful view. House was filled with decorations that really made the house feel like a comforting and welcoming home. I would definitely recommend this vrbo for any group that wants a nice getaway weekend in New York

SUPERB WEEKEND GETAWAY LOCATION

This place is GREAT. Everything is as advertised. We came from NH on August 6-8th for a show at Bethel woods and it was the perfect spot. Only 20 minutes to the venue on back country roads. We had 5 in the group so we had rooms 1 & 2 which combine but have separate entrances. The place is masterfully built and decorated and spotless. We were a group of 5 adults that meal planned so we did bring a large cooler to store food and beverages, though the host does provide some of that. The views are amazing and even better in the fall I would imagine. We did some short hiking and a little road tripping to a couple of lakes and town center for some apps. The country roads are long and twisty and make for a nice relaxing ride. I'd give it 6 if I could. Greg Patch/Dover NH

We had a terrific time at Norris's property. The house had a lot of nice amenities, the jetted tubs were wonderful, and it was just a fantastic, relaxing weekend overall.

Girls weekend

This was the perfect place for our girls weekend. We enjoyed the beautiful views and outdoor space. Beautiful hiking and rafting a short drive away. Dr Norris was so welcoming and the property is more beautiful in person. The bathrooms are a girls dream. We will be returning in the fall 100%

Excellent stay!

Great stay; the unit is large with 2 floors, and very nice. Bathtubs are huge, and the farm property is large if you like to hike! And Dr. Norris was very responsive to my questions. Plus, there is a Tesla charger! This was a big deal for me, and worth it if you own a Tesla. Excellent stay overall, have nothing negative to say. All positive, five stars!

Nice location, needs improvements for more comfort

Owner was very responsive, and location is beautiful. However, for me it is important that the accommodations itself are comfortable. The beds (both bedrooms) were extremely uncomfortable and creaked every time you moved. The fan in the master bedroom made a clicking noise when it was turned on so that it was not usable. Thankfully it was cool outside in the evenings so we could have the window open. Also, the kitchen is setup in such an odd way that it is not really usable for that purpose. I think this could be a really nice place if the owner addressed some of the issues I mentioned.

Peaceful & beautiful setting

We really enjoyed our stay at the Idea Farm. Very beautiful grounds which were fun to explore. The home was very clean and decorated with unique touches. We explored the surrounding towns And visited the Museum and grounds at Bethel Woods the site of the original Woodstock concert. We highly recommend coming here! I can imagine the Fall would be spectacular.

The place is exactly as described, very cute and clean. The owner was very responsive to any questions and check in was very easy. Enjoyed the back patio in the morning with my coffee. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing views

The property was spotless clean. The views were absolutely breathtaking, together with the quality of air, and to top it off, the water comes from a well and is the best water we have had in a very long time. The bedrooms and bathrooms were extremely comfortable and well maintained. All in all a very beautiful place with lots to do in the area.

Our stay was great. The property is very cozy, comfortable, and is located in a beautiful area, very close to hiking trails. Dr. Norris was very attentive and helpful. Wonderful experience overall.

Respite from city

Great time for my family during the end of the school year even though we were working from there most of the time. The property is beautiful, the bedrooms and beds comfortable, very clean - and the hosts were attentive, responsive, and kind. The kitchenette and common area are a bit small for cooking and assembling - but the outdoor spaces were spectacular - and important for us at the time, the internet was strong and reliable

Excellent Stay. Highly recommend.

Property was new and clean. Views are great. Peaceful location. Dr. Norris was there to make sure everything was according to plan.

Peaceful out of the way escape!

This house was spotless! There are 2 good size bedrooms-one upstairs and one down each with a full sized bathroom. There are TVs in the bedrooms. It’s a quiet place to stay. We were there in winter so didn’t get to walk around too much but I imagine in the summer that this place is breathtaking! The owner is super fast to respond to any questions (even silly ones lol) We would love to stay again.

TERRIFIC

The accomadations were terrific. The Host could not have been nicer. The enviorment was beautiful. Would return to this listing when returning to the area.

Great Stay

A++++ on this house and manager. Dr. Norris was extremely helpful. responsive and kind. He was there to greet us and make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The house was comfortable and very clean. AC, WIFI and Jacuzzi were all nice amenities. The house comes with incredible views of the mountains and is very quite. Dr. Norris and his place are highly recommended!!
