Hotel a Callicoon Center

“The room was lovely. The hotel is beautiful. We had a room in the actual building not in one of the outbuilding/cabins unfortunately because we were there just at the opening of season. The restaurant and bar were not up yet. Travel to other restaurants is good 10 to 15 minutes or longer. The pool was not open yet of course but during season, I’m sure it’s lovely and the staff was kind and very attentive.”

“The place needs some renovations. The floor in our room needs maintenance. The bathtub looks a bit run down. The bathroom door needed to be cleaned, the rest of the room looked clean. We did not eat breakfast there since there was no warm breakfast left by 8:50 AM but there is a great dinner 2 minutes away. I appreciated that there were enough big towels. The staff was friendly.”

“I made the reservation here as a bridge stop on my way into the Catskill Mountain for a few days and I'm so glad I did. It's remote -- the town of Claryville is like much of the Catskill mountains -- I was in Phonecia for several days last summer -- in that towns seem to lack a town center or even a substantive grocery store or restaurants. “The front hotel staff was completely rude and told us we had to walk ALL THE WAY AROUND the hotel to get to the casino when there was a hallway connecting the 2. My mom had to walk down a hill because he was rude and didn’t even tell us where to go or what direction our room was. I won’t be going back.”

“The property is recently renovated and well appointed. The host was very helpful and made our stay quite easy and comfortable. We were greeted with a nice homemade cake upon arrival and enjoyed an amazing breakfast before departing. The B&B is very convenient for travelers who will be visiting the Bethel Arts Center. It was our first trip to Bethel for a concert. We plan to do it again.”

“Surprised at the condition of rooms. Bathroom poorly outdated and room felt rundown. Pleasantly employees but disappointing quality.”

“The hotel was clean, convenient to the World Resort where we attended an event, next to a small mall and breakfast was included. The downside is the shades didn’t cover the window so the sun shined into the room at the crack of dawn.”

“The place is in a beautiful spot but totally run down. The staff does not care about the guests and will do nothing to help. No coffee until like 7:45 if you’re lucky. No complimentary coffee as advertised. Really disappointed all around. Place is so old and smelly. If you like nursing homes than you might enjoy staying. Sorry but true. Also would have been nice to know that they bus in inner city kids with one chaperone. I mean the kids were pretty nice but over ran the lobby and pool areas and...
